Sauder Sewing/Craft Cart, Cinnamon Cherry Finish

We like that this is a versatile piece of furniture. Very attractive and modern. We love the color. The instructions were easy. We have never ordered from your company before. I'm not much one for assembling furniture, but my boyfriend and I put this together very easily. The instructions were easy to follow, all the parts were there, all the holes drilled in the right places, etc. We worked on it sporadically over a 2 day period and I didn't time it, but I'd guess we spent not much more than about 2.5 hours to assemble. This desk/table is surprisingly lightweight and easy to move around. It looks quite nice for the price. This will be used for my scrapbooking storage and projects. There is a lot of room to store smaller items, not so much for bigger items, although I did store my Cricut paper-cutter on the lower shelf. I am going to install some wall shelving above this desk in my craft room to complete my storage solutions. This desk is just the right size, since my craft room is also my office and guest bedroom, so there are a lot of other furniture items. Love the fold-up extension for extra work space. Would definitely recommend this item to a friend.

I purchased this sewing cabinet several years ago from Walmart.com. I remember that it assembled in about an hour and is still solid as a rock. I swear the top of it is made of iron! It doesn't scratch or nick. I have used this table for crafting & sewing. When open, it creates 5 feet of space. I keep it open and have stackables to the left up against the wall. There is plenty of space for storage of my sewing/embroidery machine & my felting machine. The little cabinet houses several stackable drawer units as well as the other door having plenty of space for tools etc. The only change I've made to the cabinet is switching out the hardware on the cabinet doors. I wanted plain wood look. It has never really increased in price over several years and I'm very glad that Sauder still makes it. Every sewer needs one!! Great value from Walmart and a great product from Sauder. I would recommend this cabinet to anyone looking for an attractive addition to their sewing/craft room.

This is a very nicely made (USA!!) sewing table. I really love it! The 2 huge trays are sufficient for anything you can think of to do with sewing. The pine color is gorgeous, handles/hinges 1st class. Many extras have been thought of and put into this table; 2 positions for the swinging 2door front, open and straight across and the other slightly inward and under the folding 'wing' to give more support to upper surface. 3 shelves inside right door, another lower shelf in center. Took us about 1 hr 40 mins, my hubby and me. Everything was included and there to use. Just needed a hammer, flat and phillips screw driver. I have it in my spare bedrm where my treadmill is also. The only thing I'd keep a careful watch on is the double front door when putting in and taking out of the support position for the extra 'wing' surface. It will have a tendensy#sp# to scrape and fray over time #see close up pic#. I think I'll have my hubby put a very thin plastic or metal 'sleeve cover' over that area. All in all, this piece is perfect for me and so is the price!

It is a well built unit, easy to assemble. Lots of room for storing items. The fold down top did not line up when trying to lock it open. My husband had to drill a new hole to lock it open. But it is not where it can be seen. The unit is very nice looking.

Walmart had this big box delivered to my house at no extra charge, and let me tell you it was HEAVY! My husband took it to the basement where the sewing table would meet its final destination. The instructions were a little bit vague at first, but then as you continued they made more sense and the pictures where clear and concise. It was a step-by-step method with hundreds of parts (ok, maybe not hundreds but a lot). On a couple of steps I had to help him, so having two pairs of hands would help as you put this together. This sewing table is for the occasional sewer. I think that if this is your hobby, and you do this everyday, then swing for one that has more storage space. Although, if one is organized then this table has adequate storage space. It has casters, with the two in the front having locks so that the table will not roll. When the table is closed it looks like a very nice piece of furniture that I would be proud to display in any part of my house. I got the dark wood one. It is all made out of composite wood and made in China, of course, but beggars can't be choosy. I think this table would also make an excellent desk for a student and it would be great in an apartment setting as well. I would definitely recommend this product.

Dragging my machines and supplies to the kitchen table every time I had a sewing project was a pain. This cabinet looks great in my guest room. If my sewing machine is not sitting on the table top no one would know its actually a sewing center. I store my machine on the shelf underneath behind the swing door. My surger machine fits nicely in the cabinet to the right with two shelves to spare. The adjustable to width compartments for sewing supplies in the storage racks (x2) on the swinging door is awesome. Very handy to have all supplies within an arms reach. When the leaf is up there is plenty of work surface for projects even roomy enough to cut out patterns. Very nice quality and very functional as a sewing station/center. I assembled it by myself in 1 1/2 hour. Each piece was clearly marked making it a breeze to following and matching the instructions. Love it.

the table arrived ahead of scheduled date in perfect condition!!! Im 40 yrs old and i put this together by myself using a phillups screwdriver in about 5 hrs. i am very pleased with the table. looks beautiful and is very efficient storage for sewing machine and supplies. it is sturdy and i can sew without any issue or wiggling. also i really like the height of this table. other sites sell this table for 200+ dollars. so if your looking for a sewing table you cant go wrong with this one!!!

I love how sturdy this table is, also has tons of storage. It did come with knicks in the table top, that my husband did not notice until he was through! The minuses are the little notches to fit the expanding leaf, did not all line up. My major gripe is that in the instructions, after finishing it, it says to clean with your favorite furniture polish-I used Pledge Lemon scented. After an hour or so my table top looked awful!!! Dark and light patches all over! If I'd known it would do this I wouldn't have used the polish! Use at your own risk!

After reading the negative comments, I ordered this table with some reservation. It arrived quickly, and I assembled it that very day. I took the advise of one comment and paid a lot of attention to the details in the pictures. Took me, by myself, less than 2 hours to completely assemble, and that was with me watching a soap opera while assembling! Simple - simple! One of the easiest piece of furniture I have ever put together! This table will be used to store my sewing machine and sewing projects. The side pockets/trays are perfect to store all my crochet hooks. (one comment said to just back the screws out and you can lift the trays on/off. They sit nicely on the table for easy access. Good idea and works great!) PLUS, this table will be excellent for doing jigsaw puzzles on!!! No more taking up the dinning room table. I can roll the table to whatever room I want it in and I can leave the puzzle out and work on it whenever I have a spare moment. Soooooo cool!!
