Sauder Homeplus Storage Cabinet, Sienna Oak Finish

Took my time, I'll be 70 years old in a few month. Paid close attention to instructions. I changed one instruction. Where it said to drill ouy to 1/4 inch. I drilled through wit 11/64 bit. Things lined up perfectly. I did have to loosen hinges on smaller door to get a more even final fit. I'm sure pilot holes were done by machine, so i don't understand why some customers had problems and most didn't. I will be purchasing a second one when available. Small door has magnetic closures. The large door is held closed by spring loaded adjustable hinges.

I am very pleased when this item. We searched for a cabinet/pantry that was moderately large but not too big for the room behind the den and found the perfect piece. We wanted it for extra storage for some bulk items, etc. The shelves are deep and adjustable. The doors open and close nicely. It is a very serviceable, well-made and nice looking cabinet. Assembly start to finish was 5 hrs. so it is a task even for my husband who is pretty expert at assembling just about everything for our house over the years.

Bought this cabinet to use as a pantry. The larger door arrived punctured. I went on the sauder website and requested a replacement with the info off the instruction book and I received a new door for no charge in a few days. I put it together basically by myself in a few hours. One of the first steps I put in a shelf with the locking screws in upside down. I didnt realize it until it was too late so pay close attention to the direction the shelves are supposed go, especially in the beginning. The upside down shelf is still very secure. The larger door feels thin and while putting together the insides felt a little wobbly but is sturdy once done. Holds lots of stuff. You decide which door you want on which side so there are extra holes so just make sure you are using the correct holes for the door setup you choose. Handle placement slightly off but its not an issue for me personally.

Arrived nicely packaged and heavy on time as expected. 2 weeks later my husband and I finally had time to put it together. It took us 3 hours and we did have to go backwards once. The doors lined up with very little adjustments. I love that many shelves are adjustable so when we fill it we can use it to it's fullest potential! The color is very nice, even though it doesn't match a thing in my kitchen.

This was what we were searching for. The color is beautiful (salt oak) it has great features, clean look, modern handles, lots of storage yet it is slim profile. Overall perfect for nyc small space living. The one door had some dings/scratches when it arrived but it wasn't easy to try and return it to have née one shipped etc. such a hassle when you live in a city/apartment to have to do all that. Either way this unit looks really nice in our place and holds lots of random household items perfectly. I definitely am keeping my eye out for sales on other salt oak furniture pieces from this company.

i finally set up, i call them the twin towers. they look good, but the instructions were a struggle to understand. one of the doors came with cracks as shown on the pictures. i hope someone would send me a new door for purchasing 2 cabinets and the cost.

It was very wobbly unstable, and made cheaply. My package came all damaged, and when I opened up the box, it was all broken inside, and some of the shelves are already broken.

This product came with damage all around it. Really upset that we spent this much on something that isn't in perfect condition. Seems like it will store food nicely but I wish it was actually in good condition. It will only let me add 2 photos but its damaged in 5 different spots.

Once put together, tried to stand up and baseboards broke upon setting on the ground. Also not very stable as well because the back is not stiff. (thick cardboard) I did reach out to the manufacture and they did send new pieces that broke, but since it was already assembled not as easy to just replace these pieces. I would not buy again.
