Sauder Palladia L-Shaped Computer Desk, Vintage Oak Finish

It took about 3-4 hours for my husband and I to put together. You def need someone's assistance for the heavier pieces. Installing the drawers and everything was a one person job toward the end. Looks high value for the money. Very roomy!

Absolutely LOVE this desk! It was a bit of a pain to put together, 6 hours with two people, but it looks great. Perfect size to spread out. The color is great. Very sturdy. Love the locked file cabinet option. Good solid product and over $200 cheaper then the same exact one from Steinhafels.

I'm giving this five stars because the quality and design are top-notch. The assembly is absolutely horrific. If you have patience and can follow step-by-step instructions, this is a great desk.

Material itself is much better than I expected! I'll be honest though, if I would have had to pay full price for this AND still put it together, I don't think it would have been worth it. I put it together by just myself and it look approximately 10 hours or so. Just a lot of small parts and just takes a lot of time! I'm glad I got it on a sale! Also, I would highly NOT RECOMMEND using the Handy assembly service if you are offered it in your checkout. They cancelled 3 times, so finally got ahold of Walmart and got my money back. Don't even waste your times with that company. Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase. It seems very sturdy and looks like it should last for quite some time! I would recommend buying, but make sure you have the time and/or help to put it together once it arrives.

Using in a home office. Provides plenty of desktop space. Drawers have a smooth action. 5-star reco on the product. Sauder's recommended assembly service was poor. Required additional parts that were broken during install. Replacement parts showed up quickly from Sauder. One month later the assembly crew cannot find time to come back and finish the job. One star for the assembly company.

This desk has a lot of pieces. Luckily, we hired the handyman service as well to put it together for us. The shipping was terrible. It comes in two big separate boxes. First box was delivered to my home perfectly fine. Can't say the same about the second box. The tracking was way off and at one point I didn't even think I was going to receive the second box. We ended up locating the second box at our FedEx location. My husband ended up just picking the second box up from there himself, instead of having to continue to wait for it to be delivered. The second box was totally damaged and opened, Luckily, there were no pieces missing from the box, but some of the wood was definitely damaged. I did decide to just keep the desk anyway. It's a very sturdy desk, so I'm happy about that and besides the few dings in the wood, it's actually a pretty nice looking desk, with just enough space for me.

Once it's up and functioning the desk is very nice. If you're going to buy this desk, I highly, highly recommend getting it assembled. P.S. to the person who decided to label each board in its own special little spots individually, I hope your Christmas tree falls over...

While the desk is attractive and looks good from afar, it is made with cheap pressed wood materials, and in my specific case, it arrived with corners damaged. I called Walmart to have a replacement sent, and the representative said a desk top was ordered. After two weeks, nothing arrived. I called again and the new representative said there was no record of that conversation. I'm currently on hold trying to figure out how to either receive a refund or a replacement. This desk is not worth the hassle.

I received this item and a few pieces were broken. I have to have the desk for my office and didn't have time to return it and wait on another to come in, so now i have a desk with a badly broken piece that shows after assembly. I'm not happy at all.

I am not satisfied with this desk. It is cheaply made. The pre drilled holes don’t match per the directions, the surface of the desk is already scratched. The color is pretty. Unfortunately I would not purchase again
