Tangy, Vinegary, Virginia Style!!
This is without a doubt my favorite barbecue sauce ever, the only “Virginia Style” sauce widely available. What does that mean? It is NOT sweet and thick like Kansas City, it is NOT earthy like Texas. It is tangy and juicy, with a lot of vinegar and a bit of lemon juice. Similar to North Carolina, but with tomato. An excellent marinade, cooking sauce, or dipping sauce for pork, chicken, and fish!
