Sawyer Products Sp856 One-Gallon Gravity Water Filtration System

Easy to use, water tastes fine. Should have bought one sooner!

I bought this bag for peace of mind. Our water district recently issued a boil water advisery and I had nothing to purify water in my home. If ever another boul water advisery os issued, I'll feel much better knowing I have an immediate backup to help purify water coming into my home. I do with the water bag was made of thicker plastic. It does seem rather flimsy but I am happy to have this Sawyer product

The kit was complete with all parts and I guess it will work as advertised. The "dirty" water bag is made of the kind of plastic that will develop a leak after several foldings/uses, not as good as a CamelBak bladder. The "surgical" hose that goes between the bag and filter was crimped because it was packed/rolled too tightly inside the packaging. It would not have allowed water to flow thru it as it stuck to itself in several places inside the hose. Getting it unstuck took much massaging, pulling and twisting. It finally opened up and even after testing with water, I'm not sure I didn't puncture the tubing and that it won't leak when used in the wild. Not encouraging!

The bag seems a bit flimsy, and overpriced. But because of a lack of options, I grudgingly recommend it.

Works great for safe water from any water source. Must pretreat the filter with white vinegar to remove "plastic" taste before using.

Have used one before. Really like the performance. What I dislike is the fact that they use a mini filter instead of the larger filter.

I got this larger one for my BOB. It can filter 100,000 gallons vs life straws etc are very limited. If you have a family this is the one to get

Love it! It's exactly what I was looking for!

Bought this in the event of an emergency

Worked great on the backpacking trip
