Schleich Dinosaurs Large Realistic Therizinosaurus Figurine with Moving Jaw - Prehistoric Durable Jurassic Dino Figurine - Kids Ages 4+

This Therizinosaurus is the perfect addition to my son's dinosaur collection. It is made of a hard plastic, but the arms are movable. It is larger than I had anticipated (roughly 7.5 inches tall), but that's a good thing! It looks like it's painted with attention to detail. The packaging is nice- there are plastic coverings over the front claws to protect from shipping damage. Overall, I would definitely recommend this toy figure to anyone who likes dinosaurs!

Purchased on sale (can be a little pricey otherwise) however either way my daughter is a dino lover and we couldn't be happier with the purchase. We are schleice fans as they offer very realistic looking play figurines. My daughter loves to play with all of her various animals but is adamant they look real and we couldn't agree more! The quality is there all the way!

The Schleich Therizinosaurus Toy Figure is the perfect toy for any dinosaur lover! My kids were so excited when itarrived. I had never heard of the Therizinosaurus dinosaur. I love that Schleich puts educational fold out tags that tell you all about it. We really enjoyed learning about it together. It's a really neat toy. It has a very unique shape. My kids love that the arms can move and the mouth can also open and shut. It had cool long claws unlike any other dinosaur I have ever seen. It's a good sized toy. I love how colorful it. The paint is bright and vibrant. I love the detail of the hand painting. The workmanship is beautiful. It's a very high quality toy. It looks like a toy you should just display on a shelf and not play with but my boys love playing with it and are pretty rough with it and it looks brand new. I was amazing with all their throwing and banging it around the paint still looks great. I can tell it is a toy made to last. I am very impressed with this Schleich toy and my kids love it. We will definitely be purchasing more dinosaurs for them to play with.

I received the Schleich Dinosaur, Therizinosaurus Toy, for an unbiased review. Based on the the small booklet that came with the dinosaur, the Therizinosaurus is from the time of the late Cretaceous era, 69-76 million years ago. The little pamphlet also states that of all the animals that ever lived on earth, the Therizinosaurus probably had the longest claws. This type of dinosaur is a herbivore and weighed 4 tons. The small fold out booklet comes in a few different languages. My five year old son will love this hard plastic dinosaur toy. This will be a great addition to his collection of dinosaurs. The legs and body don't move, but his arms do move up and down, about half way or a quarter of a full 360 arm turn. The arms move easily and feel durable. The dinosaur can stand up unassisted. This toy is approximately 8.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide (including his tail). It is a good sized toy for kids to play with and it looks real with nice colors and textures. The red is vivid and this dinosaur is hand painted which is very neat. I am pleased and I would recommend this for any dinosaur lover, boy, or girl. My son has other dinosaurs that have been purchased at several different stores, but this one matches well enough to have him feel like they all match as a collection.

All I can say is wow! I was really impressed with the quality and size of this dinosaur, this happens to be one of my son's favorites and honestly it is very hard to find in a figurine, and if you do find one they are usually very small and not very accurate. Schleich is an excellent brand, their quality and attention to detail far outweighs the competition, especially when it comes to their figurines. Mine was very carefully shipped and packed, and I am grateful they took the time to cover and protect the claws. I love the fact that this is almost completely fully functional, the mouth opens and closes and the arms can go up and down, my son loves figures that he can manipulate, also it stands on it's own with out any trouble and it does not wobble. The coloring and paint job is spot on, even inside the mouth you can tell they really took the time to get it right. This is a fantastic gift for any dinosaur lover, especially those who love to collect and display their dinos, also I would bet that this is not something they already have as it is really hard to find, most of the time the store shelves are filled with t-rex and other well known dinosaurs. I definitely recommend this, it is high quality and a really nice size, you can't go wrong with it.

I gave this to my grandson for Christmas. He loved it. The Therizionaurus is very realistic looking, and has a heavy poor so it should not be easy to break. This is a good thing, because my grandson is very hard on toys and breaks everything. The detail on this figure is very nice. He looks ferocious.

Loving this dino as my grandson would say. He love it when he comes over and finds a new Dino. He played with this one for all day. Its such a good toy that he wanted to take it home. Of course this dino stays in Maw Maws toy box for next time. The Dino is so well made that it looks like it will last forever. I recommend this Dino for any kid that likes playing in this era.

This dinosaur is so cute and my little one loves this one. He is obsessed with dinoausta and this is now one of his favorites. It's hard plastic and the colors are bright and realistic. It is well made so if your little one is like mine it wont get broke. This is a great gift for any dino lover.

These dinos are awesome. The coloring is great, they are sturdy. I worry about this guy's fingers (claws?, I don't know, his digits) breaking with rough play. They were packaged with plastic protectors. Hopefully they'll hold up to being buried, which my nephew is likely to do when the weather gets better. The rest of the Dino is solid and sturdy. The coloring is great and in line with modern scientific thoughts. His jaw opens and closes, too. Great overall toy.

I received this item free to write a review. I also received other types of dinosaurs to review as well. This therizinosaurus is the most unique looking of the others for sure. All of the Schleich brand figures are modelled with attention to detail, hand-painted with care, and provide educationally valuable playtime. The craftmanship and attention to detail are the BEST features of these figures. I did notice; however, that some of the pointed areas were sharp so children should be mindful of this while playing with them, but the details greatly outweigh that con. They look so real down to their teeth and clawed feet. This Therizinosaurus probably had the longest claws of all the dinosaurs. It used them to dig, grasp, pierce, and peel off bark. It lived towards the end of the dinosaur age, together with other herbivores such as the Kentrosaurus and Pentaceratops.
