Scotch® Removable Mounting Putty, 2 oz

I use this product for many things, especially for keeping items that tend to fall over, like vases, and also as an extra bit of non-permanent methods to keep lightweight wall hangings affixed to the wall. I also use it for earplugs - yep, I roll the putty into a ball of whatever size works, and put them in my ears when the apartment noise gets to me. Weird, but it works. I have not researched it fhis is bad for my ear canal, so check that first! 1

This Adhesive Putty is fantastic. I have used it before and it works great for securing the back of pictures, to preventing them from moving once they are hung. It also works well for securing some of the vases and knicknacks . It prevents them from being knocked over

i love this stuff. i've used it to hang paintings i've made, pictures i had printed, i even used it to rehang my led lights that lost their sticky. highly recommend!!!

I have walls painted with a semi-gloss latex finish, and it didn't work well for hangings. HOWEVER, it has worked GREAT for affixing my thin rugs, runners and mats to my vinyl flooring---totally unexpected, but it works better than any carpet tape etc... I have tried. Just put a good wad under the rug in a few places, then tamp it down. You can pull it off both floor and rug when you need to move them without problem.

It doesn't stick you have to use the hairdryer and even then you can't soften it up

Didn't work well staying up. Poster. good sized ball but I kept coming down.

It doesn't work at all. Cooked oatmeal would stick better than this.

So I used this to put my sons school activity posters up on the wall. I used maybe a pea size on several areas on the back of posters. They were up about 3 months then we took them down to redecorate. This stuff ripped my paint and in some places down to the drywall!!! I gently peeled so I didn't yank or pull hard. I am so upset this happened... I now have to repatch and buy paint. How can something so little cause such a mess!
