Scotch Stainless Steel Magic Plant Based Tape Dispenser with Refill, 0.75 in. x 550 in., 1 Dispenser

I like this as its construction is metal not flimsy plastic. It's easy to load with new rollers of tape and it's cutting thing works well. It also looks decent on my desk.

The new metal dispenser is neat!

This item is a great idea, but it needs improvement. The two sides of the dispenser tend to splay out, making the tape roll easy to fall out. Or sometimes because it is loose, the tape roll pulls forward a bit and wont spin. To fix this, I have held the two sides more tightly around the roll with a piece of tape, but doesn't that look janky and defeat the point of having a more aesthetic tape dispenser? It looks very good, and I love that it doesn't have that annoying rattle of a plastic dispenser, but the design needs some work for it to be truly usable without fighting with it.

I bought this thinking it would be nice to cut back on plastic, and I thought it might last longer because the plastic ones always break in drawers. However, the tape dispenser does not remain closed, and you'll have to pop the metal pieces back together frequently. I got fed up after a few uses and zip tied mine together. No issues so far

The tape is great invisible hiwevr the metal holder is a oain it kept commibg off. which is a problem if youvare wraping hifts one hane holcing paper tape dispencer in other hand and its not tightly secured.

The two sides of the metal tape dispenser are only held together by a bent piece of metal in between and it only goes on one side. The two halves separate much too easily causing the tape to come out with E V E R Y. S I N G L E. U S E. It's a neet idea, but it looks like it was deliberately made "environmentally friendly" (read: INFERIOR) on purpose.

Hi!! I was so excited to get this. I chose it because it has a metal cutter. The cutter works great, but the holder doesn't stay together. Makes using it hard and wastes tape. And it seems to be geared towards only their tape.

Will not be buying again. Just stick to a traditional refillable tape dispenser . This one is flimsy and not stable. The metal does not hold in the tape correctly and it's a huge problem because the tape roll just keeps popping out of you have to use it. You have to squeeze the metal sides together before pulling some tape out, and if you squeeze too hard, then the tape can't roll to pull it out. It's a pain . And definitely not worth the price. Needs a redesign . And the traditional weighted reusable black tape dispensers are only 3.99 !

The tape dispenser is so stretched out and misshaped to the point where you can't use one hand, you have to use two hands, one to hold it together, and one to try and pull the tape. It's really awful. It seems like it's 100 years old and very flimsy. It's better to get the black office plastic one ( yes it's plastic ) but one that is sturdy, and that one will never need replacement so it won't end up in a land fill, this one will, because on the very first time using it was very difficult. I might have just had a defective one, who knows hopefully the next person will have better luck than I did.
