Scotch® Tape Dispenser , 1 Dispenser with 1 Roll/Pack, Mixed Case of Assorted colors

The title explains it. I used the fun color dispensers at work. Of course they always work and are dependable and last forever. The fun colors makes boring desk jobs a little more interesting. I enjoyed coordinating them with my decorations. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I used to get individual tape dispensers, but when I started scrapbooking, I realized I was needing a roll of tape in my craft room, the kitchen and the office so it didn't make much sense to keep buying the individual rolls when I could get reusable dispensers and the refills of tape. I purchase the boxed refills in bulk so I never have to worry about running out of tape and the dispensers are less likely to "disappear" around the house than a single use dispenser. I even found dispensers in fashionable colors so I have a bright green one in my office...easy to find wherever it is in the house and fun to get away from "basic black." I bought myself a tape dispenser after buying my son one in blue. I love the black color. It goes on any counter or desk of mine. So much easier to dispense from this than the dispenser the tape comes in!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape dispenser is nice and heavy, so that you can use one hand to pull off a piece of tape. Also, the rubber that's adhered underneath keeps it from moving as you dispense a piece of tape. I really like the shiny white finish too. Looks nice and clean in my office.

Great tape dispenser! It's not too big but it's heavy enough to work one-handed. The problem is, the blades get out of alignment or worn out over time, and you can't replace them. I'd like to fix something this minor instead of throwing the whole dispenser into a landfill and buying another one so it's disappointing 3M doesn't support that.

Do Not Purchase this! You won't recieve THIS! They sent me a white tape roller that is not this style. Cheap! It says you get whatever color they pick, and show 4 pretty colors, white is not one of them! And it's a completely different design! Sending it back. Don't waste your time or money.

DO NOT BUY! I got a white one, when I ordered a pink one for my daughter to put in her new room that's freshly painted on her new desk!

I recently purchased two of these dispensers, one for the office and one for home. They look great and were reasonably priced. I was so anxious to put them into service, I even broke open hand held dispensers to get the tape rolls for my new desktop models. Big Mistake. First of all they do not weigh enough to resist the effort required to cut the tape. Secondly the cutting blade is either recessed too far or just is not sharp enough to get the job done! Why has Scotch made these changes in what used to be a wonderful product? Are they afraid we will cut ourselves, or drop it and bruise a toe? Did their lawyers make them do it?
