Scott's four step products make it very easy to know what to apply to your lawn, and when to apply it. I used to purchase individual products but could not keep straight what to put on at different times of the year. Scott's solves that problem for me with this product. And it works great on my lawn - the difference in the quality of my lawn is very noticeable when using the four step process/

I only use Scotts products on my lawn. I have Bermuda grass. I use the 4 step, but only purchased from Ace, or a specialty lawn/garden shop. There is a difference in the ingredients than the same bag purchased at a Home Depot or Lowes. The bag must say PRO.

I switched to the Scott's annual program several years ago after purchasing the Scott's products individually for each "season". The program is the way to go. You have the right product when you need it. It even tells you on the bag when to apply it. Fabulous product. I even pay extra for the Professional grade.

I bought the deal for all 4 steps this past spring. In the past I had a lawn service, but had to cut back. Figured I would do it my self with the 4 step program and glad I did. My lawn has filled in where weeds once were with thick grass and is a beautiful green. I followed the timing on the front of each bag as to when to apply and it was as simple as that. Saved hundreds compared to the lawn service this season and had a lawn I was proud of. Only thing to note was that it did take some additional care in controlling clover. That was the one battle this late summer- but it may have been the odd weather of a very cool August.

This is my first time using the 4 step program. I was very pleased with Step 1. My lawn was lush and turned emerald green. 7 weeks later in early May I applied Step 2. My lawn is loosing it's green color and now has a lot of brown coming through. I am afraid of loosing my beautiful lawn to Step 2. I wonder if Step 3 will help bring back the green color and improve what seems to be lost.

I was previously using off name standard weedkiller/fertilizer products and my lawn looked fairly decent but wanted it to take it to the next level. I enrolled in the Scott's 4 step program even though it was quite a bit more money and my lawn looks horrible this year. The fertilizer was average and it did work but not a single weed died and there was definitely no preventing weeds. My lawn is now full of crabgrass clover dandelions and tons of other weeds which it never had an issue with. Mid summer it also developed bare spots for some unknown reason. Don't waste your money!
