Scotts Turf Builder Thick'R Lawn Sun and Shade, Thickens Thin Grass, 40 lbs.

I got lucky - put the grass seed down just as we finally got sone much needed rain! The cool weather is helping, too. I expect to be able to cut the new grass in another 2-3 weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My lawn is definitely feeling the heat after that crazy heat wave! ☀️ I'm looking into Scott's turf builder to get it back in tip-top shape. It's all about giving my grass the nutrients it needs to bounce back and thrive. Fingers crossed for a lush, green comeback! 🌱 Healthy lawns are so satisfying to look at.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Turned our yellow lawn more green within one use. My husband just scattered the seeds on top before the rain, not even poking holes into the soil and it worked great in my opinion. We used the full bag for the whole front lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My yard was completely empty, no grass at all bare dirt, by the looks of it the dirt wasn't very fruitful either. I sprinkled this product and watered it as the instructions on the bag suggest; after a week or two i already noticed little sprouts and green grass, and now its filling thick and green. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Scott Turf Builder Thick'r Lawn Sun & Shade! It combines grass seed, fertilizer and soil Improver all in one products. Easy to use since everything is combine in one. Great option for filling bare spot and help grow thin grass! I would recomended this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some bare spots in my lawn and I used this to fill it in. It grew so fast and has still managed to look good even a couple months later. The packaging is easy to use and it's easy to spread by hand or with a broadcaster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This turf builder was easy to use due to the smaller size bag. It made lawn maintenance much easier since my wrists have become weaker with age. This also helps with safety issues due to said weakness. As far as the efficacy of the product, I'd say it worked pretty well! I used it where my dog thinks he MUST pee, and it helped the grass regrow! No joke!

great for filling in the thin spots on an established yard. perfect for giving older lawn a little refresh.

I ordered 120 lbs of this product thinking the seed, fertilizer and soil amendment were equal. Not exactly what I thought. The seed is probably less than 1/8th of contents. I overseed and spot seeded throughout the yard. The areas are bright green but no seed growing. Just many circles of dark green. I'm all for the fertilizer used in this product but for a thicker grass….not going to happen. I had to buy 50 pounds of seed to complete the desired effect.

I live in the Albany NY area, not exactly a tropical paradise but we've had decent weather recently. Anyway, I put this down around two weeks ago the night before we got a 1/2 inch of rain. Since then, the weather has alternated between two days sun, the two days of rain and nothing has grown. Thank God I had a coupon and didn't pay full price for this.
