Scotts Turf Builder Thick'R Lawn Sun and Shade, Thickens Thin Grass, 40 lbs.

I got lucky - put the grass seed down just as we finally got sone much needed rain! The cool weather is helping, too. I expect to be able to cut the new grass in another 2-3 weeks.

I live in Missouri and have Fescue. I might have overseeded with the Scotts® Turf Builder® Thick'R Lawn® Sun & Shade too late in the Fall. We had a dog days summer that went into mid-September, so I decided to wait until October to seed, then weekends slipped away and early October turned into late October. We have had some good soaking rains since I seeded, so fingers crossed I see some sprouts popping soon.

definitely a good grass seed. grew better than I expected. will be getting more this fall to add more coverage.

This product very good filler, to choke off weeds annually. Less chemicals to water shed.

I ordered 120 lbs of this product thinking the seed, fertilizer and soil amendment were equal. Not exactly what I thought. The seed is probably less than 1/8th of contents. I overseed and spot seeded throughout the yard. The areas are bright green but no seed growing. Just many circles of dark green. I'm all for the fertilizer used in this product but for a thicker grass….not going to happen. I had to buy 50 pounds of seed to complete the desired effect.

Sorry to say this never seems to work well for me. I use all four seasons of Scott grass application but turf builder never seems to do much.l for my lawn.

I live in the Albany NY area, not exactly a tropical paradise but we've had decent weather recently. Anyway, I put this down around two weeks ago the night before we got a 1/2 inch of rain. Since then, the weather has alternated between two days sun, the two days of rain and nothing has grown. Thank God I had a coupon and didn't pay full price for this.

I filled my bare spots in the front yard with quality organic 50/50 topsoil, used a full 40%23 bag to overseed a 3000 sq feet area, watered it twice a day, added starter fertilizer after 2 weeks now we are 4 weeks in and yet not a sprig of grass came up. In the back i used Johnatan Green grass seed and it looks like a Wimbledon tennis court. won't use this product again. What a waste of time and money.

not that i did not like it but still waiting for the grass seeds. i know sometimes items show delivery but come later this has not come. driver did not take a visible picture of the delivery on porch but took a picture but of the side of my porch nothing can be seen of delivery at all. I'd like my grass seeds or reimbursed. it says to show a picture of item but did get item yet.

Barely grows. I had gotten tired of wasting money of weed killer all summer so stopped last month. I spent hours weed whacking and pulling weeds in a low spot in my backyard. I put soil down, leveled it with a push broom, put a bit of this down, and spread it. I’ve been watering a bit each day over a week and barely have any growth. The only thing this seed did is poison my dog to where she had bloody, runny stools for a week she just now got control of. I am very disappointed I wasted $$$ on this grass seed that was supposedly 3-in-1
