Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix, 2.4 lbs.

I have an array of bare spots, ground cover, water grass, weeds, etc in one area of my small backyard. (1/2 sun, 1/2 shade) I purchased this seed to try to get some nice grass started. If watered as directed, it comes in beautifully. Very thick and has spread well. I’ll be throwing more tomorrow as we’ve had nice rainy weather. I’ll cover with straw before it snows next week. Cuts down on messy dog paws.

Grass started growing within three weeks. Be sure to water grass seeds lightly multiple times a day if no rain!

Easy to apply and grows quickly. Nice size bag for small areas and to fill in bare spots in the yard. Grows in the sun or shade.

This grass seed grows really fast!! Grass started sprouting in two days!! I'm really pleased with this product!

excellent grass seed. i used it to fill in bare patches. over seeded and kept it watered every day. it sprouted sithin Week. bare patches all filled in and looks great now...very green and lush.

This helped fill in the holes in our lawn way better than the last product we used. We also have been mixing dutch clover with the grass seed to help fill in and make a better overall appearance. This also helps to improve the health of the lawn and the soil.

I purchased the largest bag available and used it for 1/3 of the sqft area advertised hoping that it was going to even fuller than normal... i followed the spreader and watering instructions to the dot... the results after 3-4 weeks were not what I expected... Several areas with blanks..... so now i will have to reseed in all the blank spaces... I am wondering what would have happened if i used it in the area advertised... the blanks would have been even more...

I did a test-run in the spring for the bare parts of the yard. I may be the worst gardener ever, but grass has grown! Lush grass. Now, I can reseed the entire lawn in the fall and be confident that my money and effort won't be wasted.

Bought a dethatcher, then aerated, seeded with Scotts sun and shade, used starter fertilizer and got poor results after over 25 days. Began early September in the state of CT. Waste of money and time.

The worst! I have used scotts for 10 yrs and love it. This isn't it. This is a "blend" which means it's not just grass seed but has fillers. It doesn't grow, I've never had so many weeds and will never use it again. Don't buy!
