I have been using the Four Step program for past five years and have been very happy with the results. I have not used this most recent purchase yet but could not pass on the two bags for free program. Thank you.
I have used the Scot's four step program for years
Too soon to say how this batch is working. But I've used this product many times in the past. Always from big box home improvement stores. This was an online purchase with a great reduced price. Product keeps our lawn healthy year around. We have 1 acre of manicured lawn in the county and this helps keep the lawn green and controls the weeds.
Really bad weeds became weak very soon and really bad grass greened up, began to grow and overcame the dying weeds. Easy to spread but then, I have a spreader that attaches to mower. Minimal walking and the swaths are very wide. Even if I had to walk a spreader l, I would stick with Scott's. Did for me exactly what I hoped - green, growing grass and dead weeds.
Last summer the neighbor commented on my weed patch lawn. I had to agree with him. So last fall I applied the first treatment, this spring I applied the second. The neighbor's wife complimented me on how nice my lawn looks. And that was with only two treatments. Now I have looked at it and I must say "Darn right lush!". Way to go Wallymart for stocking this.
Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed did a great job of greening up our grass and killing the weeds. My only issue was that I couldn't get my bag to cover as much yardage as it stated it would. Maybe, I didn't spread it as sparingly as needed. But, it did a great job on my lawn, killed many weeds, and my yard is so green and looks great. This Summer, I have a beautiful, weed free lawn, thanks to Scott's Weed and Feed.
If you're ready to get your lawn in order, this will do the trick for you. It was so easy to order, and have it delivered. As a senior, sometimes it's hard to have to get it from the store. I like that it was a speedy delivery, and the cost was great when comparing. My grass looks so much happier with out all of the weeds, and so much green!
I use this on the lawn every spring, it is the absolute best. It gets all the weeds and nourishes the grass. It's easy to apply, just spread it, water for about 15 minutes and you're done. The first time you apply this you'll see a noticeable difference, and it just gets more lush the longer you use it. Plus the fewer weeds you will have. I also do their fall treatment and the next spring you will really notice! Scott's is the best, I only use their products on my lawn. Highly recommend!
Has affected about 80% of weeds. I see the Broadleaf mainly affected. It did not affect as much Dandelion as I thought it would and it is kind of strange as some are wilted and dying while others seem unaffected? I may try an alternate brand next or in fall.
A bag didn't even complete my 40 x 100 city lot, with a house and driveway on it...Not sure how it covers 4k s.f. The old 5k bag use to have some left over. Even at the sale price, it's a 2 star item now. It did seem to help kill dandelions where it was used.
