Seriously heavy duty.
WHY ARE WE NOT ALLOWED TO USE PROPER PUNCTUATION IN THESE REVIEWS? MAKES US ALL LOOK LIKE INBRED WALMART CUSTOMERS! Heavy duty. Excessively heavy for canoe use, but use in a 14- or 16-foot resort boat will yield a rock-solid rod holder! With all the Scotty accessories available in their modular system, you can rig out a rental boat pretty well. Expensive, but the components are likely to outlast the owner.
