Huge bag and great for frigid temperatures

This product works great on many types of surfaces. We use it on blacktop, cement, pavers, and gravel. No damage within the past 3 years since we began using it. It melts ice build up upon contact and works when temperatures are very low.

This is a great product for keeping you safe with ice. I use this on the apron in front of the garage and in front of the barn and on the steps in the walkways can't see enough good things and it's the best deal in town.

I walked in, it was there, I bought it but haven't needed to use it yet. Probably good to have a bag or two on hand since it's winter and we get snow here.

I was so happy to see a pallet full of this melt ice when I walked in the door of Sam's on a snowy Friday afternoon. Bought two bags, one for me and one for my son - worked wonders.

I believe this product and its description are very misleading. Although the front of the bag states "Calcium Chloride %26 Magnesium Chloride Blend," the main ingredient on the back is "Sodium Chloride,' similar to rock salt. When I opened the bag, I found very little of the blend, with most of the contents being salt! Does it work? Sure. But I wanted the chloride blends so they're less destructive to my concrete driveway and walkways. Buyer beware.

I appreciate that you boxed a bag. We also do this at my work to help with damages. However the box was mangled and the bag had was damaged also. So i now have a box of salt after picking it up from being dropped.

Price gouging. Worst delivery. Over promised and under delivered. Whole reason I purchased was delivery expected in few days. Instead company kept bumping delivery dates and it ultimately took 11 days. Never again. So over the drop shippers and Walmart. Charged arm and leg to ship. Number to FCI is wrong per the guy that picked up phone when I called to track down the two items.

I have always used calcium chloride ice melt, but it was sold out everywhere. This blend ice melt ruined my cement sidewalk. It is pitted and I will have to get it resurfaced now. It isn't a new sidewalk, at least 15 years old, but it was in good shape. I don't like writing bad reviews, but If I can prevent this from happening to someone else it's a good thing to do.
