STRONG!
I'm using these for tree climbing. The 1/2 inch shackle is rated at 6700 lbs but I get different numbers from different sellers. Only the Seachoice Brand is high quality. I bought 12.

This is a great choice that will not rust. Heavy duty with a true lock. Works great for anchors and other things.

Package reads made in Taiwan and uses 316 forged stainless steel. Kind of light weight low grade stainless, will pick up and hold magnet, but I'll give a whirl for $9.
