I highly recommend this unit!
Straight out of the box - connected to my laptop and had an immediate 8-TerraByte of storage space just using a USB connector and the supplied power pack. The ease of installation was superb! The case is pure white which is so nice since everything else seems to be bland black. I like the Seagate Hard Drives for their ease of use and reliability, This is being advertised for the gaming world - but I'm using it as just another Hard Drive to store my memory intensive video files and mp3v files along with my tons of books I keep as PDF files. I highly recommend this unit!

Perfect!
Looks great next to my PS5! No more worries about deleting PS4 games to swap them in and out due to lack of space. This little beauty had 8TB of space at an amazing value. (Note: You can play PS4 games from this hard drive directly as where PS5 games can be stored but need to be moved onto system storage to run.) I'm sure it has many other uses but this is what i'm using mine for! Thanks.

Worth every penny!
The HDD was easy to connect to my PS4. It was instantly recognized and formatted. Now I have 8TB worth of space to install my PS4 games. Really happy with my purchase.

i bought this for my son tonise for his ps5 and it dont work for it like it claims if you want tl get it amd use it for the ps4 it works great but not for the 5
