It works, a little expensive, but you can't find really anything cheaper for what it does. I am able to run multiple games that are stored on this hard drive.
Got it because I wanted to palworld after a pretty dookie breakuo. Great buy. May need another for other games. Dont mind the price for a spilt second decision
i love how fast the firecuda connects, it works perfectly the only draw back being that you cant play games optimized for series x/s from external storage so in order to play games saved externally you have to swap back and fourth between extrenal and internal which take quite a bit of time.
This drive works as expected. Just make sure sure that your PS5 settings keep your USB ports on while it sleeps, or it may not register the drive when it wakes back up.
It holds plenty of storage I brought it for my sons Xbox and as a child he want every game and every version that he see so this definitely came in handy
I just don't like how it doesn't let u put ps5 games on the hard drive only ps4 games that's the only thing I don't like
the thing i did not like is you have to purchase the activation assistant but i never used it. it was not needed. i have already had to do a factory data reset because when it was updating it never would start back up. i did not require any assistance to do so otherwise they probably would charge you.
Do not buy, very misleading. You can't find the speed for this thing anywhere on the box, manual, or Walmart site. It's only 128mb which significantly slower, I honestly meant to get an ssd but was not paying attention. For this price you can get a decent ssd.
Transferred files slow %26 could not finish my file transfer because it was saying something was unreadable or corrupted then it started saying it was inaccessible. Dont know why i was having issues. I was expecting to just plug it in %26 go like with my samsung ssd but i had nothing but issues
I should have read the reviews. It says it's for gaming so I assumed it would work for gaming. Ha! Can't run games stored on it that run perfectly fine when stored on the actual device.
