Provides some peace of mind
I like the addition of 4 (Four) screws spread out on the door frame to securely fasten the striker plate. Using 3" security screws if a fairly effective and inexpensive defense to anyone attempting to kick in or bust the door in with the usual 2 hole 1" strike plates on the door frames. Yes, you hope you never need this extra security but it provides some peace of mind plus a lot of bang for the buck.

i wanted a larger than the standard strike plate as the one that was in the door seems to small this fit the Bill and it looks like it will be stronger than the regular ones I might order another later for the front door

Yes, a good choice
as described, was what I needed, came with 2 long, 2 medium screws. Needed to chisel out opening to fit larger size, but this was expected.
