SENTRY Calming Diffuser for Cats and Kittens, 30-Day Release Plug-in

It does seem to have a calming effect for my cat who was a little anxious from coming from a different home thank you

I got the sentry diffuser to discourage my older male cat from peeing in my room, an intermittent problem which seems to have returned. The diffuser did not work for my cat. The peeing accelerated in the area of the house it was located and reduced when I removed it (after a few days). I have another cat who is frightened of storms. I may try it in her preffered room during the next storm.

I am actually glad that these were on clearance because if I'd paid full price for them, I would be highly upset. I bought two of these and to those that had success with these, consider yourselves lucky. The constant meowing and random bouts of aggression still happen. I've tried calming gel (from a different brand) before and that works wonderfully and instantly so I know the difference. I thought a plug in would be an easier way to do it but this does absolutely nothing. I am very disappointed.

Had this plugged in for about an hour. I noticed something smelled like it was burning and my kid told me it was this and it was really hot,(he was sitting on the couch near the outlet). I went to check it,%26 it was definitely really warm. Fire hazard,glad this was received on my off night and not plugged in while I went to work. Had to throw it out.

May work for others but 3 yr old and 4 yr old are not accepting an 7 wk old new kitten still hisses after 2 wks of plugging this in :(.
