Nice size for home use, holds all our important papers with room left over. Costs less than two years of rent on a large safe deposit box at the bank.

Love the large size perfect for my silver and coin collection and important paper's. But most important is the fact it's fireproof and waterproof.

This is my second safe of this model and is perfect for the items I wish to protect. This safe is built to last and hopefully I never have to find out if it will withstand fire or flood. I prefer the combination lock over the digital keypad or key locks. Overall, they are quality safes and seeming well made.

Size is good. But… the dial %26 handle is plastic, seems cheaply made for a fire proof safe. Don't know if I'll keep it. Even though it will be a pain to bring it back. For $170 %26 the brand I was excepting better! I might get a push button instead. Hopefully that one will not feel cheap!

Two years ago, I purchased a combination safe to store both prescription medicine and over-the-counter medications. My daughter requires daily medication, so whenever I opened the safe, she would come in sometimes I would make sure she couldn't see the codes,However, after a few times of doing this, she managed to figure out the combination.You can't change the combo you have to buy a new safe unless you purchase a keypad safe.

Seems to be an okay safe in terms of fire protection, but I bought it Incase my home was ever broken into, and in that case it doesn’t make me feel secure. The safe is quite heavy, but any grown man can carry it. if you’re thinking “well that’s why you should bolt it down!” Well, bolting it down voids the flooding warranty, and they’re too cheap to send the 50cents worth of bolts, so most people wouldn’t know what to buy for fasteners. The worst part about it is the handle. It is the most flimsy piece of plastic that I’ve ever seen or touched outside of the dollar store, and that is no joke. I’m super cautious when using it because it feels like it could break at any second. Turning it just 10lbs extra would definitely snap it. I’ve had Sentry safes my whole life, as well as most of my family members too, but this has shown me what direction the company has decided to go in, and I will not be purchasing again. I’ll probably give this away, maybe to my son for his Pokémon cards, and purchase a different brand. Picture included shows how far I can bend the handle before it snaps; about 2”!!!

No real shipping Styrofoam just 1/8 inch thick uselessness. Dented in several places, Combination Dial Broken! Who would ship something this heavy packed like this?

Our family has bought 16 sentry safes over the past 30-40 years and the quality was exceptional; so we needed one more and purchased this safe--what a disappointment!! The safe does not appear to be properly sealed in several places and the corner joints are separating. There are dents in several places some of which were probably caused by handling/shipping. The safe is humped up on the top and bottom and there is discoloration on the top of the safe. Probably the most concerning issues are the plastic combination dial which does not work occasionally resulting in many attempts to open and subsequent wear and tear on the plastic parts and concern for failure in a short time and most probably outside the 1 year warranty. Additionally, the 4 locking bolts only fasten into the plastic interior and not the metal part of the safe and makes one wonder about the how hard it is to break into this safe. Lastly, I'm sure you want this mid 70 year old man weighing less than 115 pounds fully dressed and his wife a few years younger and weighing less than 95 pounds fully dressed to somehow load this 85 pound safe into our car trunk and return to Walmart.

Only worked a few days then wouldn't open. Tried combo several times.

Upon opening the box, the safe has big dent on top corner exposing metal.
