When I received this item, it was in an excellent condition. This chain saw is light weighted. I can even use a single hand to operate. What surprised me is the power of it. I tried to use it to cut a wood and trim the trees. For both cases, it functioned well. Also, it has a replacement backup battery and a replacement chain, which makes me even more comfortable.

Have a little job, tree branch or bush to cut, this saw is going to be your hero... Surprisingly, this Tidymend Mini chain saw is a "RockStar". It came with enough charge on the battery to complete a small project without having to wait for it to charge. I only needed to attach the battery and go. I would DEFINITELY recommend this Chainsaw for ANY smaller project that needs a chainsaw to complete.

The only down side was there was no gripping bar on the top to secure the saw in place as it was sawing limbs, which allowed it to "jump" at times. But since he's a "fix it" type, he's going to add a bar and keep the saw.

So far saw has performed reasonably for small tree work.Good purchase for the money and delivered quickly.

It performed as advertised. However, the provided Phillips head screw was made of very soft metal and deformed when very little twisting pressure was applied. A hardened screw would solve this issue. Other than that, the unit performed its tasks with no further worries. One last item. Put the "Tidymend" name somewhere on the box or saw or both. Be proud of your company and its products! Battery life was not good and the chain adjustment with a screw sucks. I will never buy from vendor.
