Out of the box ready to go, complete with drainage tube for continuous draining so no over flow onto carpeted floors. I have a 900 sq ft urban apartment and it keeps the living/kitchenet area cool as a cucumber. Noise is level is average, I can hear the television without increasing the volume when unit is on low, but must in crease the volume when on any higher setting. I think for the dollar this is the he best A/C unit that you could buy.

We love this unit! I actually ordered the wrong one, but we are very happy with it. We bought this for our upstairs because its very hot and stuffy even though we have central A/C. It cools and dehumidifies the rooms quickly and it's nice to have the remote to adjust during the night instead of having to get out of bed. Plus it's easy to move if needed. We bring it downstairs if it gets warm during the day, then take it back upstairs at night. And our power bill is lower because we havent needed to run our central A/C. We are planning to buy another one to keep one on each floor. Definitely recommend!

I spent many hours researching portable air conditioners and determined that this was the best value to cool my one bedroom apartment. So far, this A/C does not disappoint! It is powerful enough to cool down the entire ~450 sq ft area of my living room/kitchen and bedroom. It is easy to adjust the temperature, fan speed, and timer. One of the best parts about this A/C is how easy it is to hook up the exhaust to the window - I can attach it and detach it from the window very quickly, making it easy to move and set up at another window if I'd like. I haven't tried the dehumidifier or fan functions so I can't speak to how well those work. But if, like me, you're primarily looking for a A/C this is a great purchase and the best value out there (assuming it holds up over time, but the 1 year warranty is good reassurance).

Works really nicely. The dry cycle works pretty fast. When you unplug it for dry cycle,be ready the water flows quick. The window kit needs some Mcguivering. I used pipe foam tape insulation on sides,top bottom. Gives a nice snug fit. So far like I said brand new. Happy I went with this model. Shipping was pretty quick.

AC arrived just in time for a heat wave. Kept my studio nice and cold in 100 degree weather. A little noisy, but as long as my home is cooled I don't mind.

Easy set up. Works great! Cannot turn off climate control. Would prefer to have it run nonstop instead of turning on and off when it reaches the set temperature.

I'm very happy with this new air condition. There are two different types of BTU ratings. One says 12,000 BTU and the other says 7000 BTU, so this isn't for a really big room. The discharge fittings at the unit and the window panel are better quality than I've seen in other low priced portable AC units. Also, it has more intake area than other low priced units. For the money I'm very satisfied. Also delivery was right on time.

Cools rooms quickly, even during heatwave. The only problem I've encountered is that the window sealing plate is too big for my 35" windows and will need to be trimmed to fit properly.

After 3 months, it stopped getting cold

This floor/portable air conditioning unit arrived from UPS in a box so ragged, it was literally falling out of it. One side took the worst of the damage; a crushed filter housing and broken coupler for the venting. Hard to say if the unit's compressor will continue to work or not. Additionally, there are packing signs that indicate the unit had likely been returned by some other unfortunate customer.
