I could not find my regular powdered dishwasher soap so I bought this. I had heard of it. It is liquid, not powder. And it has a nice lemony smell to it. I put it in the dishwasher, the same as I would the powder. This morning I took out the dishes. There was no powdery residue on them. The mug and the silverware and plates looked great. But I always wash them off before putting them in the dishwasher anyway. It did fight the grease that was left on the silicone liners. They looked great. I used the dishwasher on the same setting as always. I will use this again.
I bought this by mistake thinking it was regular dish soap. I usually choose this brand because it's more eco-friendly, but this one turned out to be dishwasher gel — and I don't even have a dishwasher 😄 I gave it to my mom and she was happy with it.
I like that it cleans great and leaves no residue in the dishwasher. It is good for the environment. Pods seem to leave residue in my machine. They also have clogged my drains. Since switching to a liquid, I have had no problem with the plumbing and I feel I am doing the right thing for our enviroment.
If you are looking for a low chemical but effective dishwasher detergent this is a great one . It will clean the dishes as well as the top brands that have all the chemicals. While this is not chemical free it is very low chemical and that's important. The price at Walmart is very good although it can be found elsewhere on sale and in bulk at other stores . A little goes a long way and I find it leaves the dishes very clean spot free and the dishwasher itself clean . I will often times run the dishwasher empty with this and white vinegar to clean the unit itself . I do this about every 6 months or more often if I have been doing a lot of dishes like around the holidays . It s definitely worth a try if you are trying to avoid washing dishes in a highly chemical dishwasher detergent.
I forget why we had switched over to dishwasher pods. This lemon-scented dishwasher detergent gel works very well. The scent is subtle and the gel cleans the dishes. Recommended!
THIS IS A QUALITY PRODUCT THAT I HAVE USED FOR YEARS. ITS' ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT IS SUPPOSED TO BE LOW ANDTHE SMELL IS NICE, NOT OVERPOWERING. IT PERFORMS WELL CLEANING MY DISHES AND DOING ITS JOB.
I use several Seventh Generation products because they are safe for the septic system, which is important to me because I live near the water. They aren't easy to find at local stores, however. I've been looking for it both locally and online and was glad to find it available at Walmart at a great price.
I have always liked Seventh Generation products. They are affordable, help our environment, and work well as well as having a pleasant scent. my only concern is that they are usually out of stock ! Other than that I enjoy using this product!
I generally use the free and clear but ordered the wrong kind but since it is natural I am going to try it. I think prices in generally have risen too much on pretty much everything.
I ordered two bottles - both arrived damaged. Half of the bottles' liquid were already inside the package. Walmart customer service was very helpful, but I hope the product's packaging can be improved so that it doesn't break during the delivery process.
