SG-U: Stargate Universe: The Complete First Season

This is a great show with A1 acting, Starts kind of slow during the first couple of episodes while they take the time to give you the back story of the characters. Then it really kicks it into high gear around mid season! Story plots from the beging finally pay off toward the end of the season and things start falling into place! Finish the season and you will find yourself hungry for more!

Good show, arrived pretty quick and perfect condition

Unlike previous SG-1 and SG-Atlantis series, SGU is primarily a character driven drama set in space. Metaphysics, science and fiction are interwoven throughout the episodes but the heightened emotions derive mainly from character interaction. I am so sorry the series was cancelled after only 2 seasons.

More of a drama, not sci-fi....

More like a soap opera in space than a follow up to original SG, SG-1, or Atlantis. Pointless smutty scenes apparently intended to boost ratings in otherwise very lackluster part of Star-gate franchise. They should have stopped franchise before this. All previous parts make this look like an incredibly cheap, crummy knock-off done by tasteless amateurs. Parts of a few episodes show a glimpse of what could have been a decent series, but that's it. I would recommend that anybody that liked all the rest to avoid this completely.

We loved the "Stargate" and "Stargate- Atlantis" series'. This is nothing like those. It's basically a soap opera. Not only is the storyline awful, the whole flow of the show was terrible. What a waste of $36. We hated and wouldn't recommend this series.
