We love how smart the Shark Matrix is, so easy to set up. However it does need to be near your router, if you’re having any issues pairing then that is the issue. As soon as we moved it closer it lit up and started talking and ready to take off. We are super happy with this purchase. I have never had my luxury vinyl shine before but it does and the floor usually dries before the robot has completed the next 2 rows. It doesn’t miss a spot. However, you have to prep your rooms. If you have cords or furniture that it won’t pass under you won’t get a complete clean, same thing if there are objects left in the floor it will bypass the items leaving that grid area dirty. It isn’t very loud, you can definitely tell it’s on but it’s not so loud that you can’t watch tv or hold a conversation. Our golden retriever hasn’t clogged it up yet either his winter coat is shedding so I can’t complain. Love the fresh scent of the cleaning liquid. I think the best part is that it doesn’t take off like a drone blowing all of the dust and hair away from it before lift off. The normal vacuum blows all of the hair airborne and by the time you’re done vacuuming, the hair has settled and it’s time to go again…not with this one! My husband loves that he can control with his phone and can use it on a schedule or whenever he wants. So much nicer not having to spend half a day on the weekends working on chores.
love this vacuum. It's the 3rd one I've owned and the other 2 were not name brand. They were not easy to program and did not last long at all. So far the Shark is working very well and easy to use. It is sooooo nice to come home and the house be freshly vacuumed!!!
I find for the money and technology today the price is high. We the people saw this with TVs. Thousands of dollars spent for larger or plasma TV, now they are cents to the dollar. Price goes down you will sell more especially since there are other brands cheaper that do a better job and other high delux models that do more.
It started out very quiet but after a few weeks it became quite loud. It doesn't pick up cat hair as well as the Shark robot I replaced but it does pick up a lot. I wouldn't want to be without it because even though there's room for improvement, it keeps my house tidy with minimal effort on my part. I'm on the fence about the mopping feature. It is rather a pain to have to change out between the wet and dry bins. The wet bin is fiddly and takes a few tries to get it to seat correctly. I've only used it a few times because of that. The times I have used it, I had to spot mop a couple of areas it missed for some reason. If I had to do it over, I would probably just get the vacuum feature and not pay extra for the mopping. The cost of a replacement mop pad and mopping solution is absolutely ridiculous.
honestly, I’m not very impressed. It takes a long time to clean and often leaves some trash or dust in the corners. When it returns to the dock, I also notice that it leaves a bit of dust behind. It does pick up some dirt, but definitely not as thorough as I expected.
The application is hard to maneuver especially when trying to select cleaning mode (mop/vacuum) . The mop mode does leave the tile clean at least not a big difference. There has been some day the robot goes to rooms not on the map even, and im talking rooms far from the map area
Only giving it 2 star because when it did work it did a great job. But barely a month into owning it Steve McClean just stopped working. WIll not take a charge and we have been down the every option trouble shooting mode and it just isn't working. Been sitting there collecting dust more days than it worked for us. Very disappointed because we were so happy with it the first few weeks when it was working.
Purchased brand new…. Just kidding it was used no manual or info with it had dirt and hair inside. Now it's broken go figure and I can't even find the model number on sharks website because go figure it's about to be discontinued ! Worked perfect for 35 days… I think today is day 42. Hopefully I can get help on the warranty with shark. If it wouldn't have had cheap parts it would've been amazing!! Plastic cheap pieces were cracked when I got it but it worked so good I didn't return so it's my own fault.
I would not recommend this item. It's constantly glitching constantly getting stuck spin around constantly having to return to Dock for no apparent reason the battery life is horrendous. Takes me two days just to get my house cleaned mopping is great vacuuming it's not had I known I would've gotten another product with better suction as well as better battery life.
Dirt and hair gets trapped/stuck while mopping/vacuuming. Mop pad stays wet after docking. Cleaning time can be from 30 minutes to an hour, just depends on the mood the machine is in. The noise level is loud while mopping/vacuuming, even on eco mode, and when it docks and empties its even louder.
