Frankly, I had doubts that it would have this strong of an effect on spills. I even was able to clean up some small chunks of drywall that my dog dug into. I did not have to get out my large vacuum, plug it in, then put it away afterwards. It is lightweight and has the suction to even clean dog fur from my car. Recommended.

Love my Sharks! From my full size vacuum and to the one I replaced this model with (I had it for a very log time and it always worked til the battery stopped charging itself). It has great power and the very easy to empty canister is fantastic; just open the latch over your trash bag.

This is a fantastic vacuum. I had a previous Shark handheld vacuum. This was a little bit cheaper than the one I had before, and it impressed me just as much as the first one I had. The design is really kind of funky, but it is a little big. So if you're wanting something really small and compact, this isn't really it. But it is pretty light, even with the size. Has pretty, pretty great battery life. And it has a lot of suction. Like, this will work for anything. I can use it on carpet, I can use it on furniture, I can use it in my car. It also works great with pet hair. Absolutely wonderful with that. The only thing is that I wish it came with more accessories for it. But otherwise, it was pretty good for the money. It was actually so good that I bought a second one just to give away at my family's Dirty Santa. lol

Why so many give this item negative reviews is ridiculous! Not enough suction or battery life! Clearly they’re expecting a SHOP VAC! This Shark vac is PERFECT for exactly what it was intended to do! Short, quick clean ups! I vacuumed my mattress for example. Done! All in one shot! Great suction, battery did not die, easily clean up afterwards. AWESOME PRODUCT!! Strongly recommend! If you’re looking to vacuum out your entire car, provided it’s not a natural disaster, this can be yours! Just be reasonable about the task you’re putting it to. Do you need a shovel or a bulldozer? Like that! This is a shovel.

My wife and I picked this up on Sunday, hoping it would be the perfect solution for quick cleanups around the house and in the car. And to be fair it almost is. This Shark handheld vacuum actually surprised me with how much power it has. It’s fantastic for cleaning out the car, and it definitely sucks…in the best way. But that’s where the praise ends. The battery life is a serious letdown. We’re talking 15 to 20 minutes, max. And once it’s out, you’re done. You can’t use it while it’s plugged in and charging, which makes it pretty much useless for anything beyond a quick spot clean. I saw other reviews mention this, and I can now indeed confirm they were right. If you’re looking for something to keep in the car or use for very short bursts, it might work for you. But for our needs, this just isn’t the right fit. We wanted something more versatile and longer-lasting. This one didn’t deliver. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Let me preface this by saying I am a huge Shark brand fan, owned another version of their handheld vac and will stay a fan. My home is filled with Shark products. That said, this particular Shark handheld vac just lacks in suction and terrible battery life. My last Shark cordless handheld had incredible suction and lasted days. This one is dead fast! Total time might be 10 minutes, if that, were I to add up and maybe less than that. I've never used it for a solid 10 minutes. Just a quick on and off. For these reasons, I simply cannot recommend it. Wish I could.

the battery life is very short. you can barely make it through one small task before the battery dies. the suction is mediocre at best. you have to help it along by making sure whatever you want to vacuum up is easily accessible. I bought this specifically to clean and vacuum my floor fans due to dog fur. it won't even get the fur off of the housing of the fan. I have to pull the fur off of the housing with my fingers in order for the suction to work. I've had other vacuums in the past or I never had to do that. very disappointed! it's rather large and cumbersome and somewhat heavy. I'm sure it wouldn't be that bad if it weren't for all the other deterring factors with this vacuum. I guess I was expecting more. I consider it to be a waste of money 😞

I love the Shark brand everything I've ever had of theirs has worked wonderfully. So when I ordered this handheld Shark Ultra Cyclone I assumed it would also be great. I relieved it yesterday and charged it all evening and when I went to use it the battery only lasted 10 minutes and now I have to charge it for anpther 6 hours before I am able to use it again. I just assumed that it would last at least 30 minutes to hour. Im very disappointed and ill probably return it cause that is so frustrating.

I've always held Shark in high esteem, and when I ordered this handheld vacuum I assumed it would be another of their hard working products. This is not a cheap vacuum, and the first thing I noticed was that for the price it didn't even come with a holder for it to stand up or to be mounted on a wall. It plugs in and lies flat, which is unacceptable for the high price point. That's not the main issue, however, the main issue is the suction, or lack thereof. I purchased this for only one reason which was to pick up cat fur from my carpeted stairs, and because of the extremely low suction, it can't do that, rendering it useless to me. For an expensive vacuum, it should be powerful enough to pick up some cat fluff. I'm returning it, it's a disgrace. After my experience with this vacuum, I'll be very cautious with Shark products in the future.

Produce no holder to place it -meaning it would just be lying around wherever recharging. I much prefer having a charging holder to put it when not using it.
