Shark Matrix Robot Vacuum, Self-Emptying 60-Day Base, Pet Friendly, 360 LiDAR Mapping, RV2302AE

I've been using an ILIFE robot vac for 4 years. It broke down after 3 so I bought another one. They are low cost but do the job. A few days ago I was looking at the "Deals" and saw this Shark Vac for $288.. The things I liked about it from the description? Empties itself when it's full, cleans one room at a time, has a side brush and a vacuum cleaner type cylinder brush and works with Alexa. Takes less than an hour to vacuum a 2 bedroom apt. I named it "The Maid". So now I can say, "Alexa, tell The Maid to vacuum the kitchen". It goes around the perimeter of the room first, then back and forth. When it's done it goes to the next room if it's doing a full run. It's programmable like the ILIFE but I use the Alexa App to schedule the time and days of the week. The ILIFE randomly goes all over the place and gets in the way. Because of the dog that never stops shedding, we have to empty the dirt every half hour or it clogs. It's a little noiser than the ILIFE. When it empties itself it sounds like a standup vacuum. But at least it empties itself. It's taller than the ILIFE so it can't get under some of the furniture like the ILIFE so we decided to run the ILIFE twice a week and the Sharp on all the other days. I would recommend this vac.

It’s bigger than I thought but very easy to setup. Started using it right away and got it to map the house and it cleaned well and smoothly, and we loved that it is not very loud like others. We are amazed at how it detects the objects ahead before even touching/ crashing into them, it also goes on top of rugs that are laid over the wood floor without any problem

We've only had it for two weeks, but so far we love it. Setup takes a little time because it needs to learn your floor plan. Then you'll want to watch it a bit on the first run to make sure it's covering what you want. After that, just tell it what to do with the app on your phone and it will do its job. If the battery gets low in the middle of the job, it will go back and recharge, and then go back out and finish the job. It empties itself when full. You really don't have to do anything.

I received this item as a warranty replacement for my RV2001DRUS. I must say, this robot vacuum is definitely better. The self empty base is very stout and can be placed anywhere without sliding around, preventing poor docking. It definitely does a good job of not running into objects, due to it's ability to see objects better. It does seem to be slightly louder due to it's increased suction power, but that is a good trade-off, especially for carpeted areas. Battery life is not bad in economy mode. For 1700 square feet of mostly medium pile carpet, it only charges and resumes one time in economy mode. Overall, we are really pleased with the performance of this unit.

Great product! Amazing how much dirt/pet hair it vacuums each time! I have it set to automatically run twice a week. Such a nice feature! Self emptying is amazing also!

Please be aware you are NOT receiving a Shark Matrix vacuum as stated. This is a Shark IQ vacuum with matrix technology. The exterior box even says Shark Matrix but when you open the box you get a Shark IQ vacuum. I was told after contacting Shark that I should have looked at the photos to see it was an IQ vacuum. I am so disappointed after being a longtime Shark customer that they would be so deceptive in their advertising practices.

This item frequently disconnected from the internet. we called Shark who told us to move the base closer to the router, 5 ft. thus isn't in the instructions. Disconnects continued. Shark then stated the problem was our AT%26T fiber optic internet, and sent us a list of corrections to send to AT%26T. However, AT%26T says they aren't the problem. We have another brand of robovac that doesnt have these issues. The easiest solution was to return the Shark . Wondered what the issue really is?

The mapping functionality doesn't work well at all. I bought this product so I could map my home and clean specific rooms only. It rarely cleans the room I select. I will set it to clean the kitchen, instead it decides it wants to clean the entire house. I will ask it to clean the entire house, instead it wants to clean the living room only. I've tried remapping and resetting many times. Same problems over and over again. Attached is a screenshot of it "Cleaning the kitchen"

Features seemed great and it was easy to set up right out of the box but mine wouldn't even run once. Blinks an error code that means it has experienced an issue and will restart. It does this over and over.

I haven't even had it a year and i just stopped working. Shows an error code of battery needs charging every time i try to run a clean, replaced the battery and still doesn't work. Ive tried everything. Support is no help. It worked amazing up until now.
