this is the most beautiful commode i have ever seen. its not just beautiful but its very sturdy and has a nice large seat. it has a lid and it fits over our toilet. it could use a splash gaurd, for anyone who needs the toilet seat under the commode, but it still works. i just clean the toilet area, in case anything got on it.

This has been a lifesaver after having foot surgery. It's the Cadillac of commodes. Very attractive, sturdy and can convert to use over the toilet as needed.

This is a very sturdy chair for handicapped or elderly. I have a speaciel needs daughter and she loves it! Lots of booty room. Very comfortable

This wasn't easy to assemble for me. Probably is for most people. And after I finally got it assembled, I noticed the back part was supposed to be a certain way, so I tried to re-dp it, but couldn't get the parts undone to do so. So I left it as is. I think it will still work fine; just that me putting it together backwards made a little gap in the front part of this commode, near the seat. Don't think it will affect using this. Also, the box it was in was very heavy for me. It was difficult for me to remove all the parts without tearing the box up to get this out. I hope I won't have to return it since I had to tear up the box.

It is sturdy and stable. Seat is comfortable. It has a holder for the toilet paper The only thing I did not like is that the seat became slightly discolored when it was soiled the first time. other than that I think this is a great seat and would highly recommend it.

A little wobbly would have liked it to be more solid insecure plastic pieces did not stay in place. I like the look of it. I like the top seat cover needs to be a little more sturdy.

Using for my mother after a hip replacement. It is comfortable for her but the seat cannot be cleaned properly. I have tried bleach, Clorox wipes, and hydrogen peroxide, and nothing is working to get rid of stains. Also, it does wobble a tiny bit. But it has been sturdy enough so far. It is heavier than the previous bedside commodes that we tried. Also it is much more comfortable because there is no front bar cutting into her legs as she sits on it. So, if you don't mind the staining, it might be good for you.

Ordering from Walmart online, I didn't realize this was a sharper image product otherwise I would not have bought it. This company is HORRIBLE with returns, or lack there of. I have purchased from sharper image directly, and instead of refunding you your money, they give you a store credit. This item does not fit over my disabled son's toilet. $180 is ALOT of money, especially for someone on a fixed income. Walmart should step in and at least do a store credit.
