This grip bar works excellently. I installed it and I am shocked with the support it provides. I am plus-sized and can totally trust it's lock on the wall. I do double-check it before stepping into the shower, as the instructions suggest. I highly recommend this!

I am really impressed with sharper image quality anyway but this was a great a genius product. My parents are getting older and anyone can use a lift or hand or bar in the bathroom area . This looks great and professional when installed which was simple process. It looks beautiful and is sturdy and can hold at least 200 pounds and support that pulling up on it. I thought how perfect for my parents shower. They love it and are grateful. I couldn't have found it on my own, thanks influenster. It helped me get them just what they needed, a helping hand. I recommend.

Our shower has a step to get in and with this grip bar it's been easier and safer getting in and out. It's quick and easy to put up, adjust, or move to whatever height you need it at. He's put his entire body weight on it and it's stayed suctioned without moving a bit. We're getting one for our soaking tub too.

I would certainly purchase this for those who need help getting up and down- and not just in the bathroom. It's very lightweight and is already assembled right out of the box. Just decide where you want it and then suction it to the wall.

I had high hopes for this Sharper Image DME Grip Bar when I first opened the package as we've been looking for a non permanent solution to a bar-less tub/shower combo. The bar is large, easy to mount, and seemed very sturdy when first installed. However, despite no use the bar fell several hours later. Attempts at reinstallation had the same results.
