Sharper Image Deluxe Grabber Reacher Tool, 7 lb Lifting Capacity, Magnetic Pickup with Wrist Support

FINALLY! I found a grabber that is high quality. Don't be afraid to spend the cost. One gets what one pays for. This has a heavy-duty structure. It feels like its metal is steel. I'm unsure but, it is NOT cheap aluminum. The wrist support helps balancing during use. Very easy to adjust height and claw positions. (none of those cords hanging out) The claw rubber is of good quality. The magnets are a nice bonus. I am getting one for the attic, first and second floors, cellar and garage. Yes , THIS IS THE ONE! YIPPIE!

it was a tiny bit awkward the angle that you had to hold it but I like the new edition of the wrist supporter and otherwise the entire thing was made tough and won't tear up easily like these advertised on tv things

This grabbing tool is certainly more solid than others I've had, but the problem I have is the grip. It seems to release the hold you get if you squeeze too long, and you have to press the button that adjusts the length in order to fix, which is annoying when reaching above your head or in a tight space

This reacher device has the oddest design I've ever encountered. I don't want to say it was hard to use but it was awkward in my hand. The trigger system felt backwards or something. the material was durable and it grabbed well but every time I had to use it I was reminded how unpleasant it was to operate. Just my thoughts. Please read other reviews as this has many positive ones. I was perhaps the outlier who did not like it.

If you're looking for something longer keep looking. It doesn't have the weight of lifting 7lbs. I didn't see instructions on how to lengthen had to guess. It might have been on the box. I'm going to keep looking for something a little more sturdy feeling and looking. The magnet doesn't pick much up.

I loved the product while it worked, but I haven't even used it two months and it broke…. It's so sad because I really loved the product, but unfortunately it doesn't prove to hold up well, and I didn't even lift above the weight limit. I tried to pick up something light weight on the ground and something inside snapped and now the part you press to make the claw move won't make the claw move if that makes sense.

The amount of money I paid this should if been much better. it looks like it would work great because it looks sturdy. the grip part at the bottom does not grab everything slips. i am in a wheel chair and i need to be able tonget stuff off the shelf. anything even something less then half a pund slips i had items hit me in the head i even got a semi blackneyenfromna pasta box landing on my eye. The grip is usless. the wrist suport is decent but the need of it isnt there of you cant grab anything.

This worked great...for about 3 minutes. Then the internal cable system just sh t the bed. The claw wouldn't open or close more than half an inch. My only option was to have a replacement sent instead of a refund, so here's hoping that one will work longer.

I wanted a lightweight one. I didn't want the heavy ones. I can't lift them up and they don't work right either. They don't close at the bottom so we can actually grab something some more for like cotton and stuff in this in the fridge. They won't pick up a piece of paper on the floor. They won't pick up a napkin or anything like that close close enough.

Broke inside a week. internal rod to pull claws closed ripped out from inferior un- reinforced plastic hole in handle. Extremely poor design. It will break! Guaranteed!
