I bought this for my parent. It makes it easier for her to get up by herself. The pocket is also very useful for putting frequently used items like medicine and water. The assembly instructions are easy to follow. It fit around a California King mattress with plenty of strap to spare.

I bought this for my 92 year old dad after a hospital stay -as he was weaker than normal and needed something to grab to help push himself up to sit in the edge of his queen size regular bed. I placed this just at the area between the head of the bed and where his pillow would be at his shoulders This visually also reminds him he needs assistance and it also helps as a visual aid to remind him to stay away from the edge of the bed so he doesn't fall off. I was sure to follow the instructions and adhered the strap underneath the mattress and under the bed-frame and to clip the strap so this would not slip out with the force of pulling himself. He wasn't thinking he would use this but by day 2 he was thankful he had this!

Got this during abdominal surgery recovery. We installed it on a king bed and it reaches to the other side with no problem in length though it can be difficult to get the straps all the way over there. Once installed, it is sturdy and easily handled the full weight of my body. I could use it to pull myself up and it did not budge. The pockets were so nice for the remote and other things. I'm keeping it on the bed for convenience now.

Great for a Senior Citizen. my mom is 88. The handrail helps her get in/out of bed easily. I am buying two more to provide more help and protection for my mom!

Fabulous device to help with getting up from and out of bed after surgery or in general. Easy to assemble and disassemble. Sturdy even when you don't tie it around the bed as long as it's between the mattress and box spring. Well worth the purchase.

Very sturdy. Not hard to put together. Everything you need is included. Only down side is I can't seem to keep the little bag on it. I just used a needle and thread to secure the bag.

This bed rail was purchased for someone that can't get in/out of bed without help. Because of the assembly issues we are left to rely on the weight of the mattress %26 body to keep the rail steady %26 secure. The security band/scrap is not long enough to wrap around a queen size box spring. The ends of the scrap did not meet and could not be clicked together. We extended the scrap as far as it would go %26 wrapped the loose end around the side bar. The lower support bar could not be screwed in all the way. Also we could not attach the pouch to the rail.

The instructions were not clear when it came time to secure it to the bed frame so it took a long time of trying to secure the strap, not sure if it is done correctly per the instructions. Otherwise it is very good.

Unfortunately, these rails were purchased for my daughter-in-law who passed away two days after purchasing. I don't feel like I can fairly review them.

I bought this to use to help myself in and out of bed where my pelvis area is messed up and in severe pain due to a rather large pregnancy at 38 weeks. I never tried to use it, the instructions are disturbing. Nearly every page has warnings, more than I've ever seen for a product. To add to the concern, there are multiple illustrations of people in entrapment scenarios. I no longer felt comfortable to even try to use it. I'd rather suffer this pain than attempt to use the safety rail of infinite demise!
