Works really well so easy to use

I bought this to replace a thermometer I thought was defective. Turns out they are both accurate. The thermometer has a mute button, which made me think it spoke (announced the temp aloud). It does not. Just beeps. A person in my household is blind I was hoping for the speaking feature.

This is the best temperature probe I have ever purchased. Over the years I have purchased many different individual temperature probes, but this one has proven to be the best of all time. with the other probes, they always had some sort of issues, such unreliable, inaccurate, or very short battery life (changing batteries every two weeks. This probe has not had any of these issues, with the biggest plus has been the battery life, now going on a year with the same pair of batteries. Do not waste your money on the other probes, this one will give you 100% satisfaction.

I gave this to my daughter as she has 4 children. I feel it is better not to touch a child and spread the germs to the next child. Make sense to me. You do not have to touch the person to take their temperature. That allows you to not disturb a sick sleeping child.

It's simple to use and has a helpful guide with it I do tend to check my beck and armpit too but it's primarily meant for headaches I feel sometimes it's a little to surface based than internal temp keep in mind if you use it on armpit or neck it's more than likely to be a bit warm like that it shows grrrn for good red for feever yellow for low grade and green for good. It beebs different too if you have a fever. I like that it has a pouch to be in and the text is lardev to read.

I got this for my classroom because students after Covid have learned that if they complain of a fever or being sick that they can go up to the front office to get their temperature checked. Overtime this put a lot of stress on the front office and amounts to a lot of instructional time lost. This has saved me many times on students who are and are not sick with a fever. One of my favorite tools to use! Bonus points for being easy to read and explain to young students that if they are "green", they do not have a fever, yellow means will check again in a little bit (depending on other symptoms message a grownup), and red means that I'm going to take a picture of the thermometer and message a grownup.

Most of these types of thermometers are less than accurate. I have bought and returned a number of these and have always found them to be unreliable, misreading a temperature by several full degrees. This one is actually quite accurate! I am pleased to finally have found one that works.

The GoodBaby Non-Contact Digital Thermometer is a battery operated digital thermometer that reads quickly and seems to work well. It comes with a small storage pouch, the thermometer, and a pair of AAA batteries to use right away. I like the light up display, and also having different color lights for temperatures that are beyond the normal range is an appreciated feature. It also has a few other features; beep sound (that can be muted), F or C measurements, memory save (for the previous 35 tests), as well as the option to measure temperature of objects (within 0-100 degrees C). Overall this is a handy digital thermometer to have around when something doesn't feel right.
