SheaMoisture African Black Soap Problem Skin Toner, 4.2 oz

I love this toner. After using the Foaming Black Soap, I noticed an increase of redness in my skin and this almost took it completely away instantly. The only negative I noticed, which isnt worth taking away a star, was an increase in oily-ness in my skin. I dont have much of an issue with that, because my foundation is matte, so it evens it out! I havent tried this for that long and Ive only been using this in the morning (I use The Ordinary Glycolic Acid toner at night) but so far my skin seems to be reacting well - no issues with dryness/oiliness or new breakouts. I dont typically use toners, but I figured I would try it out. I used this toner after using the Shea Moisture detoxifying facial wash. My skin felt so clean and refreshed. It even looked brighter. I see a lot of toners for blemish prone skin that have a ton of alcohol in them and I'm so glad that this one does not! It is actually quite hydrating. I have dry skin and ive noticed after using this for a few days I actually have less dry patches on my face. After double cleansing I used this product and it still picked up dirt. It was not drying and felt good on my skin. It didnt break me out or irritate my already acneic skin. #complimentary [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I like it, it has a subtle scent. I use it after I use the facial wash. I apply with a cotton ball and you can see a difference even after one use. My cheeks and face had a nice matte look. The item finally arrived two weeks later than the scheduled date with no updates from the carrier until the day of delivery. The seller was contacted multiple times and their response was that they would contact the carrier and complain. The fluid in the picture vs the fluid in the actual item is darker and the item is .3 fluid ounces less than what was described on the website (4.1 fl oz. vs 4.4fl oz.). Hopefully the darker shade means nothing and that it is not a result of sitting in a hot warehouse.
