So very surprised by this item. I bought them because I needed a better fitting headphones for working in the yard. Well not realizing that they weren't in the ear headphones. I wasn't my sure if I could keep them. Well for mowing you can use ear plugs which sounds crazy but it works. You don't have to turn up louder and hurt your hearing and it does all that you would want and need for yard projects outside. Even working out. Highly recommend.
Prior to purchasing SHOKZ OpenRun mini bone conduction waterproof Bluetooth Headphones, I had purchased another brand; I returned it because it was very uncomfortable and the quality lacked. I have been nothing but pleased with this purchase! The quality is superb. I would definitely recommend this item. Considering the quality, the price is very considerate.
I love these, I bought them for work. I deliver through the day and these last my entire day. Clear sound for music, audible books and most importantly my calls. I would recommend these 100%..
Great set of headphones. The fact that they are bone conduction makes it easy to listen to what you want to but also be able to hear what is going on around you.
I tried my son's Shokz and had to get a pair of my own. I love that they go on the outside of the ear so I can still hear other things going on around me.
These are by far best purchase over years. The sound quality is great, the fit is better than all of the ear buds I have tried and never fit, the cost from Black Friday special blew me away. XMAS present for myself. (I did have an older version over years %26 the mini of this version is very comparable just smaller for my small head)
Like the sound quality. Not. impressed with the fit. These headphones slip while I'm just standing. I can't imagine using them while running. If they don't stay in place while stationary, there's no way they're gonna stay put while engaged in exercise or other athletic activities. I bought the mini because I knew the "regular" size would be too big. But the mini also slips. This issue diminishes the experience of using the headphones because I'm frequently having to adjust their position. That's the most annoying part. I see this as a design flaw. I'll keep them. But I won't buy another set. I do wonder about the fit. and comfort of the earbuds. Those might be a better option for people who have smaller heads. But do the earbuds slip, too? Will they fall off while standing , walking, or running? First world problem. I'm lucky to be able to buy tech toys. I just need a different fit than this
They work as they're supposed to the only thing I do not like is I feel like it should have a little more length. Sometimes when you move it, kind of pulls them back into your ears so they don't actually stay in place. But overall, they are very good headphones. Battery life is about eight hours continuous use. They're not noise canceling obviously but if you put them at full volume, it is kind of hard to hear people around you speaking. They're comfortable as far as not having headphones in your ears. That's all I got.
I understood from the explanation of this device that it could be used as a hearing aid. That's not exactly true. It has no microphone, and cannot be used by itself as a hearing aid. Instead, you must load a "hearing aid app" on your smart phone and use that app to send the sound from the smart phone's microphone to the device. This is awkward to say the least. No thanks!
I was really hoping for better after my partner has an older model and loves it. I did intensive research to pick right ones. Sound is crackling, people sound like robots. Sometimes I can't hear them, volume isn't great either. Guess I'll go back to my air pod pros and or my Sony headphones
