Shoreline Marine Portable Manual Bilge Pump, 800 GPH, 12V

Seems like a great buy. I used silicone adhesive to mount it in the bottom of my aluminum boat. I extended the wires to reach my battery mounted forward because of boat balance. I used to open the boat drain plug while traveling ahead to drain water, this meant taking my eyes off boat traffic a few minutes. Not a good idea so the bilge pump solves that problem. I used heat shrink tubing where I spliced more wire onto the pump.

This is a quality part. Included bracket makes install a snap.

Worked great. Replaced an old one. Fit perfect.

I needed an 800 gph pump this one works for I needed it for and cheaper than in store. Haven't used yet

Was what I expected. It slows when it has to pump uphill. I used it to get water out of the root seller from a problem with the slump pump that was already there. Took water level down quite a bit. Worked well.

I needed to pump out a month of rainwater from an SC23 sailboat and the hose I used was a little leaky. This was a distinct hindrance to getting the water over the cabin step ladder to the deck sink hole - a matter of maybe four feet. It vividly illustrates that pumps of this type move the rated flow only at minimum head, and a four foot head can almost stop flow altogether unless the pipe is sound and leakproof.

My boat leaks allot so I need reliable bilge pumps. You don't need to spend allot of money for a good bilge. I have two of them in my boat now.
