Great movie for adults and kids
I personally found this hysterical and so have my 5 and 8 year old kids. They watched it every day for weeks and none of us got tired of watching it. It follows the same general story line as the movie but takes on its own life on Broadway. It starts out ok with just Shrek, gets very funny with the introduction of Donkey and then gets hysterical when you add in the interactions with Fiona. She is AMAZING! So sad we missed this as a touring Broadway play but thrilled to have this!

Best Purchase In A Long Time!
Honestly, I bought this movie because I was in love with only a few of the songs and I collect anything musical. However, after I watched it, I was in love with all the songs I 'didn't care for' before and am absolutely stunned by how fantastic the costumes and sets are. Its absolutely brilliant and the jokes are so clever. Since watching it the first time, I've had it on a loop repeating over and over.

Bought for my son
My son was ecstatic to get this movie! He had been watching it on youtube, but would rather have the physical DVD to watch at his leisure. I have heard nothing but good from him about it. If you or your child loves Shrek, this is a must have to add to the collection.

Great! This movie has real people acting out the parts of the original Shrek. Loved it. So glad I could find this.
