SHUT-OFF VALVE BRASS (Pack of 1)

altho I have not had the shut off long it looks to be allot better built than most. And the plastic turn knob doesn't last very long and render's the shut off useless on most of the others that I've tried in the past.This one being Brass it should last for more than one or two use's. This will hold up and last much longer than ones sold in stores.

This shut-off valve works well for the purpose of turning off the water at the hose nozzle end. It also allows the hose nozzle to rotate better than without it, but it's still a bit stiff when tightened.

we use these a lot at our shelter and it makes it easier to change between sprayers.

It wasn't exactly the item picture. The shut-off valve is made of plastic. Metal as shown in the picture. Still a quality product but I was looking specifically for a metal shut off handle

The picture and description state that this is a "Brass Shut Off Valve". Most of the time I use my hose to wash the car and drop the nozzle and shut off valve on the cement driveway. I wanted a heavy duty valve. The valve Walmart sent didn't look like the picture. The turning piece on the valve was plastic not brass. I suggest they update their picture to show exactly what they're selling . I opened the package in the pick-up line and immediately returned it.

The illustration clearly shows a brass handle on the shutoff. Delivered parts have a handle made of a material similar to the black collar on the end of the valve.

The valves I received were not the ones pictured. They had rubber covered fitting on the incoming end and a rubber/plastic "L"-shaped shut-off. If I had wanted those, I would have bought them at the local Home Depot for less. Deceptive advertising, as I know what the solid brass Gilmour are. Just like the one pictured, that I thought I had ordered.

Ordered 2 pieces. This product is designed to be used at the end of a hose; therefore, it will be exposed to impacts due to falls and bumps. The lever to open/close the valve in the picture sure can whithstand this, but the semihard plastic lever that came with the valves you sent me look as if it was designed to break at the first impact. You should send that exact product you offer, or change the picture in the description of the valve, so your customers will be aware of what they are going to receive.
