Signature Fitness Olympic Barbell, Straight Alloy Steel Weightlifting Bar, Silver Finish, 5/6/7 FT Options

I'm a retired personal trainer so I have worked with MANY different pieces of equipment for years. Converted my garage into a home gym and needed an extra bar for small spaces. I use a 5' bar with my bench and ordered this as a second as I have started training my 9 year old son. EXCELLENT quality and you can't beat the price. Took 2 1/2 weeks to ship but worth the wait. Pay attention, this is NOT a light bar. I believe it said 14 pounds. no problem for us. Note this is a 1" diameter. Exactly what I wanted.

This is an amazing barbell for the price. I bought the 6ft version for $8.99. If I am being honest, I didn't expect it to show up. It was just too good to be true, but it wasn't. It is a 16 lb, 6 ft barbell with a nice knurled grip. The one problem is that the 1 inch diameter is a little off. It is less than 1 inch so clamps and weight plates don't stay on too well, but you can just wrap some tape around it and you're good to go. I also did have some annoyances with the shipping. It initially said it would come on the 16th, then the 5th, but then Fedex didn't provide tracking for a bit and it ultimately came on the 6th, but more than worth the wait. It's a little hard to store since it is 6ft, but its fine. The ends of the bar do have a little bit of scratches, but for $9, you can't do better.

good for the price, but I wouldn't get near the recommended max weight. it flexes a fair amount at half the weight.
