I love my new ice maker. There is nothing to assemble. It doesn't make a lot noise and it takes about 7 minutes for ice cubes to be made. For best results of the initial cubes, refrigerate the first bottles of water to initial the process. After that they don't need to be cold. Best investment and I love the pink color.
It's really easy to use! I'm crazy about this thing! I researched for weeks looking for the right one. It drops the 9 bullet ice cubes in my machine every 10 minutes. It makes the ice quickly. It drops three to four times to fill the basket. I put mine in a plastic sealed bag in the freezer. So convenient now. So much better than filling those ice cube trays constantly. Thought I picked the two size ice one but guess not. Doesn't matter. Absolutely love it! Instructions say push the on button to start. You have to push it twice. It flashes White when you push it and you just push it again and it starts. Love that it has a self cleaning function. I Have to contact the website because the book does not say how often to clean it. I am so happy with this machine. Buy it. You won't be sorry.
it makes ice at a rate it says. only dislike is it has to melt the ice slightly to release from the freezing cones , so your ice is wet and ends up sticking together when you put it in the freezer. the trick is to shake it up every time you add to your ice bucket or container when adding to the freezer. unless you have an ice pick to break it up.
Love this ice maker! I turn it on and it stays on until I go out or go to sleep. It makes a decent size bullet type ice in about 7-8 minutes. You do need to tend to it by constantly adding water and emptying the tray but I think it’s worth it. My ice maker in my freezer is broken so I was driving to the store to buy ice all the time for $3.99 a bag. This is so much cheaper and convenient for my needs and I am happy with this purchase.
i,m well pleased with this ice machine.it doesn,t take up that much room.its quiet and makes ice quick.i got a red one i bought my sister a light green one and she loves it .i would highly recommend this machine to anybody it would be great for college students.its a no brainier. get one and it saves on water and electricity.u can make ice all day and night.and is it,s easy to clean.thanks again.great product.
I was not convinced that it would make enough ice fast enough but for two or three people it actually does. The only drawback is that it does not get freezer cold. The ice cubes, while plentiful are just -barely- frozen but on a hot day who cares? It cools down my double walled stainless mug just fine. I recommend this little icemaker. It works quite well.
this is the second ice maker that had of this model. the first one didn't work at all. didn't turn on. but I like the fact that the controls are on the front rather than on the top. being on the top means I have to stand up to read it or fill it. this is much easier.
Unit works great, but once ice is made you need to put it into the freezer. Ice cubes are wet and will stick together. Not so bad they can’t be broken apart. Melting ice cubes water gets recirculated and the reason it says to clean regularly. Definitely puts out the ice as advertised. Would buy again and bought two, one for a gift.
This icemaker works in a pinch for when you’re camping. But, it has a very sensitive sensor for when the ice is full, so if an ice cube is stuck it will stop making ice before the basket is actually full. It does also run out of water fairly quickly, so unless you have it hooked up to some type of automated water system, you will be refilling this quite often.
Folks, save your money. After using it for a couple of months, way past return time, we found mold growing in the back top area where the ice is forming. We run a clean cycle at least twice a week but apparently it doesn’t clean that back area that is almost impossible to reach. Moldy ice no bueno,
