Skullcandy Mod XT True Wireless Inner Ear Earbuds, True Black

The battery life is the best I’ve come across. I use these at work, and I have never had one die on me using it off an on over an 8 hour period without putting it back in the case to charge. Over the past two weeks I’ve only charged the case once. Although these aren’t active noise cancelling earbuds, you still can’t hear a whole lot of outside noise when using both at the same time. While the case is as big as my other Skullcandy active noise cancelling earbuds, the earbuds themselves are quite small. I have not had any issues with them falling out of my ears when performing normal day to day tasks. I’ve have not had any complaints of the sound quality when using them to talk on the phone either. It is also super nice that I can use the Skullcandy app to fine tune them to my preference. These can also be used independent from one another so that’s always a plus. It is using USB type c for charging so it’s keeping up with the times. They also have the same tile feature as my other Skullcandy headphones so that is another nice touch. These have turned into the main pair I grab when leaving the house. The only future I wish they would add is in-ear detection. Pauses whatever you are listening too when removed and resumes when you put them back in. Other than that, these are great earbuds.

These outperform the big brand headphones everyone likes! They work so well and I never have an issue with them! If I lost them I would not have an issue repurchasing at the pricepoint these guys are at. I always reccomend these compared to the other brands. These are THE ones

I think that it is super cool how I can use the Skullcandy app on my phone to customize the earbuds to my personal use and liking. It includes changing the button settings and even a “stay-aware mode” where you can customize how much outside noise you'd like to hear. That feature is very useful to me because I need to be able to be attentive to my surrounds. As a mom of two, I don't have time (or the mental energy) to fuss with little things (like taking an earbud out every time to hear) and these earbuds make my listening experience so much better. I use them to listen to podcasts and audiobooks while I do housework and exercise on my treadmill. The sound quality is great! The bass and treble are both clear, and when I make phone calls, the sound is also clear and not muffled at all. The person on the other end of the call can hear me clearly as well. It also has Tile integration so I can use the app to keep track of it in case I lose it (or one of my kids decides to hide it)! Battery life seems to last forever too

Skull candy wireless earbuds, they could not be easier to pair. Straight out of the box you take them out, they flash blue light, turn your Bluetooth on and select MOD to pair. Took about thirty seconds to set up. The ear buds are not activated by just touch you have to press them until the button clicks. Which is kind of annoying pressing that hard on something sitting in your ear. It comes with the extra ear molds so you can get the right fit. I like that you can use either left or right ear bud singly. Each ear bud lasts 7 hrs. And then the case provides 27 hrs worth of charge. So total 40 hours without having to recharge the case. They are sweat/water resistant. Not water proof! And the coolest thing about these headphones is you can pair them with the ‘tile' app to find them!!!! I wish my other earbuds had this option!

This is a review for the Skullcandy Mod XT TWS Earbuds After looking over the packaging and product, I had good impressions of it. I plugged in the charger, charged the case and then paired it to my old phone which I use as an mp3 player. The earbuds have actual buttons instead of touch controls, which can be good based on personal preference. I often accidentally trigger my Skullcandy Indy buds and as such, I welcome this feature with open arms. In addition, there are beeps that change based on how many times you press the button. It's a minor thing, but it lets you know whether you did a single press or accidentally double pressed. One feature that really stands out is the ability to pair to a second device. This could be handy if you're using these with one device like a computer, and need to answer calls on another device, like your smartphone. This feature works pretty well from what I've tried with it. The last features I also like are the Tile integration and custom equalizer. As with my prior skullcandy buds, these also have a "Be Aware" function. The sound quality is pretty good. Even more so now that you can create a custom pre set. The battery life is good, around 7 hours of active use, and the case does around 30 or so hours, I believe. And the case has a colored light to tell you the battery level on it. I have not drained the buds nor the case all the way, so I can't back that up. Overall, I'd recommend these. They're comfortable buds with a great sound, and priced a little cheaper than some of the other skullcandy wireless buds. Thumbs up from me.

not mad at the product yet, and really just glad that i got what i ordered. there have been issues in the past.

There a couple things that really sold me pn these ear buds. 1. They connect to my Tile app which means losing them is a lot more difficult. 2. The Skullcandy app is excellent for setting then up exactly how I want. 3. The sound quality and battery life have been fantastic.

I love being able to listen to music whether i'm at home or on the go and these wireless earbuds are great for that. Inside the box I got earbuds, a charging case for the earbuds, ear gels, and a USB charging cable. For the charging cable that came with it, i didn't really use it, I had a different type phone charger that worked better for me charging it. The extra ear gels/covers it comes with comes in handy if the ones that are already on the earbuds fall off and get lost then I have the extras to put on them. I like how compact the charging case and how well the earbuds fit inside. The LED lights turn red and when I remove them from the case, I turn the bluetooth on my phone and connect it the the earbuds. The voice says connected and they are ready to use. I can play my music or listen to videos so no one else can hear it especially at night time. The quality is great and the sound is amazing. By pressing in the middle if the earbuds i can control the volume, play forward & back, and to answer/end call. The earbuds power on when removing from charging case and to power off I press and hold in the button on the earbuds. I been using these everyday and they are the best earbuds I have ever owned.

These ear buds are nearly as good as Samsung buds. Skullcandy has upped their game in recent years. The buds are plenty loud and super comfortable in the ear. There are several size options for the perfect fit. Their always-aware mode works very well to allow outside noises in while still listening to music or taking a phone call. The range is also impressive; they stayed connected to my phone up to 50ft.

The sound is great, but they are not comfortable at all. I tried all the ear gel sizes (comes with S, M, and L) and the best for me was the small, but it still was hard to get them to stay in my ears. On top of that, I had such a hard time pairing it to my phone, I thought it would be great that it has an app to utilize as well. Unfortunately I couldn't pair them to my phone despite numerous attempts, so I had someone else pair it to their phone so that I could at least review the sound quality. They do sound amazing and that's the only reason these are getting a 3 star review.
