Simple to use. Loud. No frills. If you're testing it out or want to use it for a short nap, you can't set it to go off within about 30 minutes of the current time or it will just start ringing. But for regular use to wake up a teenager every morning it does the job.

If your looking for something to actually wake you up this is perfect it's verry loud there's no volume dimmer well because it's literally bells that sound and wake you up up but that's what is so great about it, although If you happen to be trying to hit the snooze there's no way for you too so you have to turn it off but when you do and you fall asleep again and forget to turn in back on then sorry your out of luck

I love the nostalgic items and this one is a reminder of yesterday only thing is it runs on batteries not wind up. Just remember it has no AM/PM setting. simple 12 hr anolog disigned. So you have to set it within the 12 hr time frame, not 13 or 14 hours early.

On this alarm clock it was very easy to set the time, which the clock keeps accurately. But after a week of use it is still difficult to set the alarm time. The alarm dial has four bright dots between each number, making it difficult to set an alarm time different from the hour. So far I have not been successful in setting the alarm hand to the time that I want. The alarm bells ring loudly enough.

I bought and returned this clock (thus 4 stars) Positive: the alarm was loud, VERY loud and that was a huge plus Negative: I had contacted the seller asking if the clock automatically turned off. An affirmative response was imperative and a deal breaker for me. Well, despite assurances it would, it did not! I contacted the seller again and he admitted he had erred!He told me I could just turn it off manually.( something I could NOT do);

The light doesn't light up the whole clock and it's only on when you push the button and while you are holding it in it stay on, but shuts off when you release it

PROS: DELIVERED QUICKLY, cheap, battery operated, glows in dark, has a touch light if you need to view with light on. You can place across the room and force yourself to get up. It is a bell alarm it does it's job. Only needs AA batery CONS: DID NOT WAKE MY HEAVY SLEEPING TEENI don't like that the numbers have an alignment issue when setting the alarm. This makes it difficult to set time perfectly. Also, my phone normal alarm is louder than this. My older model plug in alarm clock is louder. Please, update the sound to be as loud as a fire alarm or something similar. Maybe a battery low indicator on back would be nice.

I bought this alarm clock because I'll sleep right through an alarm on the phone. The clock looks nice and did its job for less than a week. For no reason the clock just stopped keeping time. You can tap on the face and get it to start working again but who wants to fool with setting the time everyday and sometimes twice a day. I am returning this and buying something different

The clock itself looks nostalgic and cute, however, without any instructions included, and no differentiation between a.m. and p.m. settings, this clock is impossible to navigate. I bought this for my teenager and not a link. Could she not figure out how to set the alarm for a.m., versus p.m., neither could I. The alarm sounds loud enough when we finally hear it, but we cannot figure out how to set it for morning rather than it going off at 6 PM at night and vice versa. Instructions would be extremely helpful. Also, the back of the clock we received does not look like the back of the clock pictured in the listing when we bought it. Not a huge difference, but enough to make us wonder if this was a redesign and maybe they forgot to include the instructions.
