SmartyKat Rowdy Rascal Hanging and Floor Carpet Cat Scratcher and Plush Sound Cat Toy

This cat scratcher exceeded all expectations. i cannot say enough glowing things about it. not only is it adorable and affordably priced, but my cats thoroughly enjoy it and use it frequently, much to my surprise and delight. i wanted to take the time to write this review and highly recommend it to anyone with discerning cats who are normally disinterested in most toys and things. i took a chance, and i am beyond happy that my cats are happy. this scratcher does the job. it hangs at the front door, and each of my cats takes turns pawing at it and sharpening their claws on it. BONUS: it chitters and chips and chatters, and, yes, my cats respond to it. it is an attractant! so clever. i am so pleased. 5 stars.

my friends cat loves it, it is the second one he has had. 20 different toys and that is the one he plays with all the time

This is such a cute raccoon scratch pad even though so far, my cats haven't tried it as far as I know. I shake it every time I go by becasuse I love the sounds it makes. I'm sure the cats will try it soon.

turned out to be an good purchase. 7 of my 8 cats (3 fosters) approved of the SmartyKat Rowdy Rascal Hanging Carpet Cat Scratch Pad %26 Electronic Sound Plush Cat Toy and seem to enjoy it, I do wish, at the price of this item, that the size of the scratching pad was longer/wider, maybe by 1.5 (1 1/2) inches or more.

The only problem is that this item may have been in the store as the batteries that are in the cat toy have died already. The cost of the button batteries will end up being over half of what we paid for it. The first one lasted 6 months, this one little over a month.

My cats loved it. But it only lasted a week. Stopped making noises .

The sound isnt able to be turned off and is activated with the smallest touch. the scratching portion is too small for an averge cat to scratch comfortably. Otherwise, it's absolutely adorable.
