Smucker's Cider Apple Butter, 16.5 Ounces

Love love love this!! I work at Dassault Falcon Jet and didn't even know you guys made apple butter until it was mention as the beginning of Smuckers! I had to try it and am so happy that I did!

My dad introduced Smucker's Apple Butter to me when I was just a kid. I moved away to college and still enjoyed it on my own with scrapple, the way my dad liked it. Then one day it was no longer in the supermarket. Where did it go? So for about 40 years I substituted some other apple butters, but never liked the taste. Then this fall I was at the Race of Gentlemen in Wildwood New Jersey with a bunch of guys, and there was a vendor on the beach selling Scrapple Bites. As the rest of us were watching the races, one of the guys went and got us some Bites, and then handed me a couple of packets of Smucker's Apple Butter to enjoy with my scrapple bites. I smiled and told them my history with Smucker's and how much I missed it. Got home, went online and found the Smucker's website, bought two jars and now I'm enjoying my scrapple with the only apple butter that really goes with it. Thanks Smucker's!

I have been a Smuckers consumer since the ripe age of 8 years old. My Gram looked after us most of the time, and would always make us apple butter sandwiches for lunch. Fast forward, I lost my Gram two weeks after giving birth to my first daughter, they never got to meet. She was the most important person in the world to me, and being freshly postpartum felt almost impossible to cope with. However, my daughter and I now continue on the tradition of apple butter sandwiches for lunches now and again, and it helps heal a big part of my heart each time we do. I'll never be able to share one with my Gram again, or see my daughter enjoy one with her, but this is absolutely the next best thing. Thank you for creating generations of memories.

This is the very best apple butter ever .I have been buying it for years.......from former years in Ohio to California .When I could not find it here, my sister in Cincinnati would send or have it sent here . I think " made from cider" makes it delicious .

Perfectly edible apple butter, but too sweet for me and my family and not as thick or intensely apple flavored as we like. I'm sure this is good for a commercial apple butter.

What a disappointment when I recently purchased a jar on the internet site only to find it is laced with High Fructose Corn Syrup and Corn Syrup. What a shame!!!
