Good for enchiladas rojas on a budget
I needed good enchilada sauce for my enchiladas rojas, but couldn't find the peppers I needed to make the sauce from scratch. So I bought this can as an alternative, and it tasted like the real deal. I wish it was spicier, but the flavor was good. I'm glad the store had a pepper based enchilada sauce so I wouldn't have to get a tomato based one (yuck). I strained it for smoothness to dip my fried corn tortillas in it, and it turned out fantastic. If you want enchiladas rojas and can't get your hands on guajillo or ancho peppers, this is a good alternative (and it's cheaper). I was able to make 15 enchiladas with one can.

I have been using Las Palmas for 80 years. the best product is their Red Chili sauce but I use the red enchilada sauce when I can't get the Red Chili Sauce.

I use this if they don't have La Victoria. It is good. The flavor may even be richer. I use it in stews and of course enchiladas.

tasty stuff
it's very tasty in my chilaquiles. it's not overwhelmingly spicy it's just right. use it when I make other dishes that are not enchiladas too.

Weird taste
Wasn't really feeling this brands red enchilada sauce. There are better options. I do like this brands green enchilada sauce, however.

Disgusting
This is one of the nastiest things I have tasted in my entire life. Thankfully I had the foresight to taste the sauce before I smothered my burrito in the vile slop. I even dug the can out of the garbage to check for a recall or something, it's seriously so awful!

Sauce Changed
I've used this sauce for years and loved it. Something has definitely changed and the color is now brown instead the red it used to be and it tastes awful. At first I thought it was a bad can but it's it wasn't. I've purchased it at different stores and it's the same color brown. I even had a friend tell me the same thing.

Terrible!
This is the 1st time I bought this sauce as I usually buy El Paso. This is the worst sauce I have ever tasted. It totally ruined my enchiladas tonight. Will never buy this again.
