These are my husband and my favorite preserves and flavor. Unfortunately they do not carry this flavor in our local store anymore so we order them in multiples to be shipped when we can. They come very well packed.
I have to watch my sodium and carbs intake so it's hard to find a quick prep method for air-frying wings and other poultry parts. Thinning this with a bit of water makes it easy to brush on or to make a bowl of sauce/marinade. Cooks great and tastes amazing.
My husband has a sweet tooth and is also a diabetic. That limits what he can and cannot eat. That's why we get sugar free preserves. We buy them all the time because he loves them and they satisfy his sweet tooth. Plus they don't raise his sugar level.
I use this for my favorite dressing: fresh lemon juice, honey mustard, virgin olive oil, herbs, spices, and a little honey for sweetness. Great on pasta salads, tomato/cucumber salads, lettuce salads, and more! Apricot is aversitile fruit flavor and Smucker's unsweetened is the best to use in my opinion.
You can't even tell there's no sugar. I like to mix this with my cottage cheese and put on crackers for a filling snack or lunch. I can't recommend enough. It's a little pricey but anything without sugar usually is. I am going to make my thumbprint cookies with it this year.
Sometimes you just want something sweet on your toast. This spread is perfect. It is solid rather than runny. It satisfies the sweet tooth without all the sugar. My family enjoys Smucker spreads.
The last two shipments were thin in texture. I have purchased many, many bottles of this flavor and up until the last two or three shipments the texture and taste were absolutely perfect. Now they are watery have a bland taste. Regrettably I will not be buying the sugar free apricot preserves again. The reason? The texture has turned watery and as a result the taste has is watered down as well.
In the past the flavors of the Peach and Apricot Preserve's were better. More fruit flavor and sweeter so this makes me think you are cutting back on things that made your jams and jellies taste better but making your prices higher. It's okay to make your price higher to cover your margins but not at the expense of your product quality. Also let me add your Orange Marmalade, which in this order I couldn't get, was previously bought at a store was also not as good as in the past.
Recommended with serious reservations--not directed at Smucker's but directed at Walmart. I've ordered this item in lots of eight a number of times--and each time the Walmart employee packed them so badly that each order contained, at the very least, three broken jars. Further, the replacements sent by Walmart ALSO arrived broken. I've cut myself numerous times attempting to extract the good jars, and the last time required a visit to my M.D's office to patch it up. If you want to order this very worthwhile product, only do so if you can pick it up in person. Walmart isn't capable of packaging breakable items for shipping.
Jar leaked (0nly one of them) I ordered two of them.
