A must have for any stringed instrument player. have been using Snark electronic tuners for many years my guitars and ukuleles and they are always reliable with perfect tuning accuracy even in noisy environments. I have been at music festivals where I loaned it to violin and cello players so they could tune their instruments as well. The Snark tuner can be used in low light situations, and this rechargeable version needs no batteries. Charges quickly with the included USB cable and each charge last long periods of time even with daily tuner usage.

I've always loved my little snark clip on tuners and I think I've been using them since they first came out, but this one is even better than before, because it's the first one I've ever purchased, that instead of using a button battery, it's rechargeable with a micro charger included, so I thought that was really cool.

I've used the original Snark Tuner for about 10 years and it is a fast and easy way to keep the guitars and bass guitars in tune. The ortiginal Snarks had a little design flaw with the ball end of the pivot rod socket on the clip and tuner with the 3 plasticfingers breaking off with normal usage, rendeering the unit unusable without a repair, I see tht they have overcome the design defect and now the ball sockets are mounted in rubber, so they should hold up better in the long term. The electronics seems to be faster to find and lock onto the tuning than my older unit, plus with the supplied mini USB to USB cable, it recharges very quickly with no batteries to worry about. I used to replace the 2032 battery in my older units after 2 or 3 gigs worth of tuning.and I always had to carry a few spare batteries, just in case. You need to keep your instruments in tune if you intend to make music and this is a great buy for a great musical tool!

I had one before that worked pretty good. I get a different reading every time I pluck the string. Maybe it's not the tuner or maybe it is. Don't know
