These shepherds hooks were just what I was looking for. I did read some complaints about them not being sturdy, but I think that was because the ground they were trying to put them in was too hard. I i watered the area well before I tried inserting them into the ground and had no problem. So if you try these dry watering or wait until after the heavy rain storm comes by before putting them in the ground.

Yes, I would recommend this item. It lives up to it lives up to why it's supposed to do and they look nice. They're very sturdy.

the shepherd hooks look nice but, are not sturdy for long term use. the anchor that goes into the ground is weak and solder is not done well, letting it bend too easily while getting into the ground. . I got them for a party so they did well for a one time use.

These are not as sturdy as I expected, but they were inexpensively priced.
