SoftSheen Carson Dark and Lovely Triple Nourished Hair Relaxer, Regular Strength

I love this relaxer. It gets my 3c/4a hair straight and it's easy to use. I've used many many relaxers over my 40 years and this one is by far the best one for off the shelf DIY. I really like how it has a post-relax pre-wash treatment to restore my hair immediately after the relaxer does it's thing.

I have been using this product for years It has never let me down The main thing I love is that even after you relax your hair you can still get a fro by not putting anything in your hair after you dry it other you can put in your hair your oiling products but if you want to get a fro do not use a gel to hold it down and the next day you can wet it and apply gel if you want it to be straight Very easy to mix the ingredients and it smells fresh and no off putting odors

I've used this product for years and has great results. From the application to the end results, fabulous! Wish I could purchase just the Recovery Shine Cream w/Coconut oil (step 6) that really keeps the shine and softness lasting until the next application. Or, offer step 6 in a larger pack. Love this product.

i haven't had a relaxer in 7 years . Used this and fell in love . everything smells super good . Afer using everything my hair is well moisturized not dry or brittle at all . definitely will reuse for my touch ups . 10/10 highly recommend if your going from natural to relaxed ✌🏽

I love this perm it it all kinds of things in it that makes your hair smoothly silky and shiny and its lasts pretty long its one of the best on market.

I've had relaxed hair for 48 years. During the pandemic and caregiving, I let my relaxer grow out. I am so very happy I found this relaxer at Walmart. It will keep me from using my clippers again due to the frustration of trying to keep up my natural hedge thick hair. Thank you Walmart for carrying this relaxer. I've been using "Dark & lovely" for about eight or nine years now and I won't ever turn back. I usually use the "Regular" relaxing kit. I use the color treated kit if my color is fresh so it won't all come out. This relaxer leaves my hair feeling smooth, looking healthy and it helps my hair grow because it's not damaging it. I also don't need a perm every month I usually go two or three months between retouches.

I have been purchasing this item from Sally beauty supply, but this year they told me it was discontinued because people who color their hair use non-permanent hair color & a regular relaxer. I was told that the relaxer strips the color off, which I know very well but I choose to use this specific relaxer because it is very safe on colored hair. I am really not happy about having to use a regular relaxer as I tried it before & it causes a lot of hair fall. I wish this color-treated specific hair relaxer comes back to the market even if it's price needs to be adjusted.

The perm seemed like it was old. I reached out to the company and have not heard back. I have never had a problem with the product before. My hair is dry now and never permed my hair.

On my orginal order, I ordered a regular strength kit and I got a super strength. My replacement was still the wrong item so now I have to physically take it back to a Walmart store. I just pray that there's a scooter for me to use. Because of my medical condition; I have not been physically able to go in a Walmart store and shop which is what I have always done in the past.
