Sony BDP-S3700 Full HD Steaming Blu-ray DVD Player with built-in Wi-Fi, Dolby Digital TrueHD/DTS, and DVD upscaling

I have no idea you haven't had a chance to use it. All I get is pasteurized by Wilmer here or anything so I don't know. When I get around to it I'll let you know and that's my own truth I don't know yet. I don't like it well too bad I don't sit there and watch movies and TV everyday I have to make a living.

If you still have a few DVDs that you'd like to play on your TV (or even CDs), this is a great little player. It's a no balony SONY (I'm using their slogan ... but, it's very accurate). It's easy to set up, easy to use, and you don't have to access any "bells and whistles" unless you want to do more than just play a DVD (or CD). Most people don't even think about playing CDs through their TVs ... but, the feature is there if you care to access the CD capability.

I did a bit of research on DVD players before I purchased one. I found a number of them that were a lot cheaper, but also in the reviews and description of what other customers has said the quality wasn't very good in those cheaper DVD players as far as a picture and sound goes. If I'm gonna be entertained, you want good picture and good sound and they said the Sony brand was at the top of the list as far as quality goes and it's been doing great so far.

I have used only Sony dvd players for the last 15 years. It's a brand I can trust, so easy to hook up with the end to end HDMI cable. I collect movies, most of them still on dvd format. This dvd player has it all, reasonable price for a quality product. The remote control is basically the same like in the old model but the HMDI port makes a world of difference if you have a 2020 tv model

Was real easy to set up and met my every expectation. Good value for the price. Has a feature so that if you turn off the movie part way thru when you turn the dvd player back on you can hit play and resume the movie. remote control is easy to use. very good product.

I was looking for an inexpensive CD player since my old one quit, I didn't really think I needed to spend a whole lot of money on it and this was inexpensive and plays CD's fine. It does lack a display indicating what track it is playing nor does it indicate that it is even playing or not. The buttons aren't very easy to push in because they are thin and angled in a strange way.

Been looking for an inexpensive HDMI DVD player thats not refurbished for a few months and found this one. The price caught my attention (especially for the brand) so I got it for our Family room. It works great...only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it didn't come with the HDMI cords and I had to go back out to get them when the whole family was ready to start watching the movie :-/

This is the 3rd time I've purchased this product. First time was great. Still using it every night in bedroom. Second time it was for living room. In six months, using it less than once a month, it suddenly did not work. No power. So I'm hoping this replacement works like he first one.

It messes up my new dvd discs on the first try. We put them in clean, the picture starts messing up, we take it out to check and there are scuff and scratch marks all over it. We have had to throw the whole first season of NYPD Blue away. This tells how many times we tried it out! 6!! It is going back!

I purchased a new TV with HDMI inputs. Sadly it doesn't use RCA inputs. So I couldn't use my old Panasonic DVD player to play my DVD's So I thought I'd try the new Sony. Don't waste your time and money. It vibrates really bad when playing my Braking Bad full series DVD's I just bought. It also skips horribly. The discs appear to be in perfect condition--no scratches or out of round. Ironically these are Sony discs. Some other DVD's will play--it's hit or miss. All my DVD's play on the old standard Panasonic DVD player. I bought an RCA to HDMI convertor and now I can play DVD's again. Unfortunately I missed the return window for the Sony by 2 days.
